As the shaking continued. The situation with Hanzo and Rubashi was not pretty. Especially because Rubashi was not fully inside the cover when the explosions detonated. And the fact that they were quite close to the explosion did not help too. And the explosion immediately collapsed the part of the tunnel it was set on, the rest of the depth of the tunnel following soon after. Fortunately for Hanzo and Rubahsi, they were not on the collapsing side, at least for now, as everything was shaking and the hill was growing weaker by the second, and upon all that, the explosions were meant to be detonated when they were at least halfway out of there, to allow them to escape without being buried under the hill.

Hanzo was mostly ok, he was just squeezed between the wall of the tunnel and the boulder, using his sword to keep the boulder from crushing him, he was lucky that their equipment was of high quality, otherwise, the force of the explosion would have sent him and the boulder flying towards the wall, squishing him completely. And as said before, Rubashi was not so lucky, well he was at least lucky at one thing when he was swinging over the boulder he had his feet to the explosion, hid boots were reinforced with metal to help deliver better and more powerful and painful kicks, however, this time they served as a somewhat good shield against shrapnels of sharp small pieces of rocks, flying everywhere as bullets. But his boots did not catch every piece of sharp rock that went flying his way. Five of them made contact with him and hit his legs. His right leg had three rocks embedded in it and the left one had only two. All of them however strike his thighs, and to his dismay, that was one of the places where there was no armor on the body.

The enemies of Hanzo and Rubashi however had it the worst, they were closest to the explosion and they were nowhere near in or near any cover, however three last Jhins miraculously survived, however, they were very disoriented after slamming into the walls with such a force, they only survived because of their armor and the fact that no pieces of rock went flying into them. The Immortal on the other hand... He was just standing there, unmoved, still braced, hand in front of his head. Only slide marks could be seen as any sight of movement for him as he was just mildly moved by the explosion. His external damage was that of a few stones embedded in his armor, however, no rock pierced his armor-like skin, only probably leaving dents in his skin. However, inside the Immortal's head was a whole different story. Immortal's enhanced senses were his doom in this situation, his enhanced hearing causing him to lose hearing, his eyes starting to bleed from the bright flash of the explosion, and his sense of smell being overwhelmed with dust and the scent of gunpowder. The only sense the Immortal still had at this moment was his sense of touch, however, he was to regenerate soon, at least to the point that he could hear a little and see a little and smell a little, so he would be on the same ground as Hanzo and Rubashi.

Hanzo then went to check on his friend Rubashi, Hanzo leaped from behind the boulder spotting Rubashi on his right side, slumped up against a wall, a small puddle of blood forming underneath him, and that made Hanzo very worried, and on top of that he saw that Immortal survived the explosion too, along with some Jhins, however, they did not look very combat ready and the Immortal was not even moving, so Hanzo brushed his worries about enemies to the side, at least for now, his first priority was to help Hanzo and then run with him out of there.

Hanzo: "Rubashi! Are you ok?! Can you walk?!"

Rubashi: "Fuck, what the fuck happened."

Hanzo: "One of the Jhins detonated the explosives prematurely, we need to get out of here fast."

Rubashi then looked over his body.

Rubashi: "Well looks like I won't be going anywhere anytime soon."

Hanzo: "You can't walk at all?"

Rubashi: "I still can feel my legs, and it hurts, but I think I will be able to walk somewhat, but don't expect any dance moves any time soon."
