It was morning, and Hanzo barely slept, keeping watch, he did not want to risk the creatures of the Void sniffing them out because he forgot to collect his knives. Kai'sa did not sleep much either, after all what woman could sleep alone with a man who obviously did not like her much and barely knew her. But they both caught some sleep even if Hanzo let Kai'sa sleep in his makeshift bed.
Now Hanzo was wide awake and was cooking something, even tho, in reality, he just made a sandwich, and he called it cooking. He made one for himself and one for the Kai'sa girl, still not fond of her, but he grew accustomed to her for some reason, was it her appearance or the pure part of him still left deep inside him where Evelynn's claws couldn't reach and the loss of somebody close fall? No matter, now he will get her out of here and be done with it, he has more important stuff to do. Truly, he was supposed to be at the gates of the base now, but he chose to help this princess of the Void out of here, and he hoped that his late arrival wouldn't have some consequences, but it is not like he could just go around and say in his defense that he let a princess of the enemy forces just go out into our word.
He could hear Kai'sa groan as she began waking up. He turned to her and slowly approached her.
Hanzo: Hey there sleepy princess, I hope you slept well, you have a big day today.
Kai'sa just groaned again and when she finally was fully awake she remembered finally where she was.
Kai'sa: Well... this is not the royal bed but it was good enough.
Hanzo: If that is good enough then you are an extremely humble princess, now here, have a sandwich, it will be your last meal for a while so make the best of it.
Kai'sa: ... Thanks.
Kai'sa was awfully shy all of a sudden, I guess that is her personality that was suppressed by adrenaline from the fight yesterday, meh don't care either way, I won't see her again in the next few hours.
Hanzo: In just a few hours, you will be out of here, and guess you will be a princess no more, just another girl... another no-one in the society, but may I ask you, do you have something under that?
Hanzo pointed at her battle uniform, or was it an armor? He did not even show any emotion in his voice, it was purely neutral voice.
Kai'sa blushed a bit.
Kai'sa: ...Yes... Before I escaped I made my Tailors make me clothing that would fit in into this world. ...But how do you say that so calmly with no emotion, asking a girl about something like that should be... embarrassing.
Kai'sa blushed a little bit more
Hanzo: Do you think a warrior who has already seen so much death cares about these minor things, plus I have a girlfriend after all.
Hanzo did not know why was he telling her this, he did not need to tell her all of that information.
Kai'sa: I see.
Hanzo: One other thing, since you are a human-ish do you have mana and power?
Kai'sa: Well, I can certainly move very fast Plus I have these canons and can make weapons and shoot purplish energy in my hands.
Hanzo: Good, the word out there is not the most friendly place towards anyone without any powers. Personal experience, believe me.
Kai'sa: Good to know I guess.
Kai'sa looked away for a minute but then she looked back at Hanzo.
Hanzo: Do you know the Chosen one by any chance? My father constantly talked about him.
