Chapter 27 One Life goal almost done.

Hanzo got up from his bed. It was the next day, the day he would start another part of his homecoming plan as he named it, and that was finding people responsible for Rubashi's family death and kill them. The same went for Rumi, and to himself too. But today, today was Rubashi's vengeance time. His new lab/or a tech cave where he could make new inventions was not to come for another few days so he had time to spare, and he was not feeling musical, so he chose violence. 

Hanzo grabbed his old uniform and got it on, but now he got his knives and sword. His knives have been upgraded by him and worked with a glove he made. It was very much not a very high-quality modification, however, it will have to do until he gets his space for his engineer persona. Now he simply added magnets with some tape on his knives and some more magnets on his glove that are powered by electricity making them function on command, and so he could retract them more easily too.

Before Hanzo left for the airfield because the government in charge of the "War of the Shadow Isles" decided that it was a good idea to let Hanzo keep the jet, however, they stripped it of any and all weapon systems on board, so that was quite unfortunate, but at least they left him the jet.

Hanzo also wondered about people's reactions to his released backstory, he did not hear many people talking about it. Only Seraphine briefly said that she watched only a part of the beginning, well It was a very, very long video, so there will be people who do a faster recap of it, but it was only a day or two after the release, it will take time for that to happen.

Well now off he was. The journey to the airport was quite long, and he noticed few people staring at him, which was good. Not everyone was now staring at him, and the people staring at him had more of a friendlier stare of admiration rather than hate, well there still were some that stared at him with a cold glare, but it was not a lot of people, and Hanzo attributed that to the Video he released, to that that they now had answers.

Hanzo passed the guards at the airport and made his way to his assigned hangar and there it was his jet. Hanzo got into it and looked at the Runeterra map. Rubashi never specifically told him from where he was. But Hanzo knew that he was in a monastery near or on the mountain, so Hanzo took the liberty to do a late-night search of all the monasteries on or near mountains from the main continent. And Hanzo found exactly 3 that matched the location, and all were in Demacia. Hanzo silently hoped that only one of them was in ruins, as he really did not want to decide what monastery, was monastery Rubahi resided in. Hanzo will take revenge on his shoulders for his team.

And, fortunately for him, the first temple he found was no longer there, there just were scorched remains of it. But just to be sure he got around the rest too, and to be even more fortunate, only the first one he saw was burned down, indicating that it was the Temple Rubashi resided in. 

And, unfortunately, since it was in the mountains there was not any field where he could land, but his fighter had a V-toll mode that made the landing easier as he only needed a small part of the ground to land. Similar to a helicopter. So he found a small piece of land that he could land on and it was not even so far from the temple on foot. So this part was easy.

Hanzo: Well, the easy part is over, Let's find some clues, if there are any to be found, it has been a lot of years since the temple was destroyed after all.

Hanzo then made his approach. The ruins looked not too much different from the base on Shadow Isles, however, Hanzo immediately saw something that stood out. Whoever attacked the temple has made a flag and symbolically placed it on the highest point of the ruin, which was only arm's distance above ground, so getting it was not a problem for Hanzo.

What struck him was the similarity to the flag he got to know very well. The flag of the Void, although it was a little bit different, but the main feature they still had in common was the main color. Purple.
