Chapter 5 Revelations

Rubashi charged at 2 more voidlings, his eyes seeing their every movement, he managed to avoid the strike of the first one and sliced at his back, that strike would have killed an ordinary man, however, what he was fighting was no ordinary living being, he then ducked under the strike of the second voidling, slicing his hand off. Hanzo then dashed away from them and then looked back, at the voidlings standing there, Rubashi was shocked, he was pretty sure they should be dead in the pools of their blood, however, there was no blood in sight. Instead, they looked unfaced, they then charged at him again, and this time Rubashi aimed at their heads, easily avoided 2 disabled voidlings, and slice both of their heads off with just one slash. 

Meanwhile:

Rimi was scared, but she had very powerful powers and stamina because she did not have to push the cart all the way up the mountain, so she had plenty of energy to go with. First voidling charged at her and she shot an energy blast at its head, completely blowing it up, and killing the voidling instantly. But the other one was just fast enough o get to her in time before she could fire another blast, she barely managed to summon a sword with her energy to block the voidlings attack, she stumbled back from the force of the attack, but she did not have time to recover as the voidling began swinging its sword, hoping to finally kill her, or that is what she thought, she did not know that the voidling was pulling its strikes like something was telling him not to kill her and capture her instead. She then managed to block the voildings attack with one hand and summon another sword in the other and stab the voidling in the place, where the hearth was supposed to be, however, like with Rubashi's strikes, it did nothing. The voidling just looked at the sword made out of energy that was now stuck in his body and punched Rumi with his lower arm on which was an iron armor, so naturally, it knocked out Rumi. And now she was laying there unconscious at the voidling's mercy. 

Meanwhile:

Zaruzo and Takashi had no problems dealing with Voidlings, they already knew where to strike, so they either always went for their heads, or slightly above, to destroy the voidling stuck to the human head, covered by their headgear. Zaruzo was now showing, that his old age did not matter in a combat scenario as he managed to beat 5 voidlings in a matter of 5 seconds, Takashi was slightly behind him with 6 seconds, and now another 5 remained, one of which was a commander of the outpost, thus a very experienced soldier, that meant that voidling could have gotten more skills out of him. They easily dispatched another 4 normal voidlings possessing casual soldiers and then charged at the final one, to their surprise, the voidling managed to block several blows and even scrape Takashi a little on his side, but that was about all he could do before Zaruzo finally gave a killing blow and cut the head of the voidling off. However, unlike Hanzo, Takahi soon followed with a stab to the area where voidling should have been, and as his confirmation was purple blood being spilled out of the headwear. 

Now:

With their fight being done, they finally looked back at the students, expecting a cheering, but what they saw horrified them. Out of the 3 students, only one was standing. The others were being held hostage by two remaining voidlings. And on top of that, Hanzo had a voidling stuck to the back of his head. The changeling holding Rumi hostage had a sword to her throat, as to threaten them not to come any closer, little did they know, that Hanzo was now having a fight to the death with the voidling inside his head. 

Somewhere in the depths of Hanzo's mind. 

Hanzo was once again standing in his dream, however, now there was the changeling too, and the voice could once again be heard. The dream has started to transform even more, showing him on top of a throne, right next to Rumi and another girl he did not recognize, and one other figure, that seemed like it was made purely out of shadow. The voidling that once attacked him was now kneeling before him, and not only him, there also was Rubashi and others he saw at the outpost, all of them were kneeling, all of them were praying to him. And the dark figure spoke the same words as in previous dreams.
