A Life Saver

Jason's pov

I run into the med and run up to the counter. "Miranda Aldean, she fainted and was brought here." I gasp. The nurse nods and gives me a key card. Security has to be tight after Merle's stunt. I run down the hallway and find her room. She's unconscious. A doctor sighs and stands beside her bed. "is she okay?" I ask worried. He jumps when he hears me. "we don't have the right antibiotics to bring the swelling in her brain down. When civilization collapsed so did most medical supplies." He says. "I'm sorry but all we can do is wait and hope." He walks out and I sit beside her bed. "it must've been when Beth hit her against that tree.

Miranda's pov

A walker jumps at me. It's got a chain around its neck. It creeps closer than is pulled back. Michonne walks out of the shadows. She looks like she's been crying. Daryl walks calmly towards me and hugs me tightly. "I've got to give you a message!" He says, looking me in the eyes. He kisses me. "Abe is going to go crazy. He'll try to kill you while you're still in a coma. He thinks it's your fault his daughter died." He says. I stare at my hands, they're covered in blood. I wipe my hands on my shirt but it doesn't go away. He grabs my wrists. "remember you're in a dream." He says. The blood vanishes. "I love you Daryl." I cry, hugging him. I knew I could never get over him. Just like Jason would never get over me.

Jason's pov

"how can I tell him?" she whispers. "I have to warn him." I wish I knew what she was talking about. "go his dreams! Please!" she cries. I pace the hospital room fearfully. Joe walks in. "man you need to get some rest." He says. I shake my head. I feel a needle in my arm! Joe just injected me with a sedative!!

*in his dream*

I see Daryl cleaning his arrows but his hair is completely buzzed. "Daryl?" I gape. He turns around and nods. "this was at the beginning of the apocalypse." He says, pointing to his head. "what's going on?" I ask. His smile quickly vanishes.

Joe's pov

I better get out of here because when he wakes up, he'll be pissed. I turn to leave and Abraham blocks the door. I back up since he looks furious.

Jason's pov

Daryl suddenly looks up. "he's here. Get out there and save our girl!" He screams, shoving an arrow in my stomach! It wakes me up though. Abraham pushes Joe out of the way. "Abe it's not her fault! She saved us all with a cure!" I cry. I'm shocked to see the arrow still in my stomach and his crossbow in my hand. "how'd you get that?" Joe asks. I shrug, still stumped. I attempt to pull the arrow out but it hurts so bad. I rip it out fast and collapse to my knees in pain. I load the arrow. "Abe get away or I'll shoot you." I warn. He turns around, staring daggers at me. He kicks the machine attached to her and alarms start going off. "you son of a bitch! If you just killed her!" I yell, shooting him! The arrow goes through his head just what I was aiming for. Doctors run in and help her then one runs to me. I forgot I had a wound in my stomach. "I'm fine. I'm fine. I have to stay here." I choke out, my vision getting blurry. They do cpr on her. That can only mean one thing cardiac arrest. "save her!" I cry, falling unconscious.
