Jason's pov
I wake up in a hospital bed with Glenn beside my bed. "Glenn, what happened?" I mutter. He shrugs. "is she okay?" I ask, sitting up, a ripple of pain shooting through me. "she's fine. She's still in a coma but she's not in trouble anymore." He says. I lay back down tired and relieved. "if she wakes up tell me." I say before falling asleep again.
Glenn's pov
I walk outside. I guess the bbq is cancelled. I sit in front of the statue. The plaque says, the girl who ended the apocalypse and her life. "she came back at least." I mumble. Abe is dead. Me, Maggie, and michonne are the only people left from our group in the apocalypse. Everyone else is dead. I sit in front of the statue and cry just like a baby. I didn't realize I fell asleep until I looked up and it was nighttime. "I better get home." I say. I walk back to Jason's farm since we're staying there with keely. "Where's mom and dad!?" she shouts. I pinch the bridge of my nose and pull Maggie away from the freaked out 7 year old. "Where's Jason?!" she whisper screams. "He had an accident. He got stabbed in the stomach with an arrow." I explain. "how?" she asks. I shrug.
Jason's pov
I wake up to the frightened eyes of keely. "daddy, you're okay!" she cries, hugging my neck. I smile but am annoyed. I told them not to tell her. "is mom okay?" I ask. She smiles. "she's just waking up." she says. I get out of bed and she stands in the doorway. "hey, baby, you're okay!" I gasp, hugging her. "what happened to you?" she asks, pointing to the thick bandage around my waist. I don't want to tell her about Daryl so I just say I don't know. We kiss until keely yells, "gross!" I laugh. "let's get the hell out of here." Miranda says. "ooh, mommy cussed!" our daughter says. I roll my eyes. "OK come on squirt." I mutter picking her up. We get back home. "we still doin' the bbq?" she asks. I shake my head and kiss her again. "how did you get hurt?" she cries. I sigh. "I don't know. I woke up with it like that." I say. Technically I didn't lie. She smiles and kisses me passionately.
