Beth's Not Happy

Jason's pov

She smiles in her sleep. I wonder if she's thinking of the same thing I am.

Miranda's pov

I am walking through the woods, hunting with Jason. "do you think the world will ever be normal again?" I ask. "this is as normal as its gonna get." He says, reshifting the crossbow on his shoulder. "you know what I mean." I mumble. He sighs and kisses my head. A crash through the woods made us quickly draw our weapons. A man is breathing hard and when he turns around, I almost scream. "Daryl!" I shout, shocked. His eyes nearly bulge out of his head. He stops breathing crazy and takes a step toward me then faints. I run to him and look up at Jason. He lowers the crossbow and leans it against the tree. Did he shoot him?!

*she wakes up*

I scream from the dream turned nightmare. "whoa! What's up?" Jason shouts surprised. "oh man, just a nightmare." I whisper. He let's out a breath. "ya scared me." He says. I smile. That's weird. I haven't had a dream about Daryl in a long time. We finally cross Georgia state line. "almost home baby." He says. "I'm not going back to sleep, do you want me to drive?" I ask. He smiles and shakes his head and holds my hand. "ya wanna talk about it?" He says. I shake my head quickly.

Jason's pov

Maybe I should just leave her be. If she wants to tell me, she'll tell me. We drive through the city gates. Beth stands in the entrance. What the? How did she beat us? She rips open the truck and grabs Miranda's arms, pulling her out. "what are you doing?!" I yell. She throws her against a tree. "I should've let that walker kill you!" she screams, punching her. I grab this psycho's arms and hold her back. "what the heck, Beth? What was that for?" she cries, holding a hand to her mouth. "you killed my brother!!" she shouts. "and you killed merle!" she kicks me in the groin and I am forced to release her. Oh man that hurt!! "We had to kill merle! He was out of control!" I yell. "no he wasn't!" she screeches, crying. I can see why she's mad, it was her brothers but did she have to kick me in the nuts. We get back in the truck, leaving Beth at the gate. "you OK?" she asks. "I'm fine. Are you all right?" I say with a forced smile. "my head just hurts where I hit the tree but I'll live." she says. This time. Luckily keely slept through all that.

*15 minutes later*

Me and Glenn are hanging around at my house. Maggie and Miranda went in to town to get something for dinner. We're going to have a bbq and invite Beth and try to get this sorted it out but I'm staying at far away from her as possible. Maggie's car pulls up and she jumps out looking terrified. "what happened?" Glenn asks, standing up. Wait! Where's Miranda? "Where's Miranda? I ask her. She's trying to catch her breath so she can talk." we were..." takes a long breath. "walking down the street. She was complaining of..." another deep breath. She sits down. "headaches then she collapsed right in front of me." I grab my keys. "where is she now?" I ask, running to my truck. "she's at the med." she shouts. "one of yall stay with keely. Don't tell her what happened!" I call driving away as fast as I can to the med.
