Parker residence, 5/17/2008 10:00 am
"Aunt May, I don't know what I'm doing anymore." Peter said to Aunt May "Am I still doing the right thing, should I stop ... being Spider-Man?"
"Peter, there are hundreds of choices for you to make, but only you can make the choice." Aunt May said as Peter sighed in frustration.
"Why can't this be an easy choice?!" Peter shouted angrily as he sat down with his head in his hands.
"Peter, which life was easier? Peter Parker, or Spider-Man?" Aunt may asked Peter who just stared in confusion "Don't make the choice for someone else, choose it on your own"
Meanwhile ...
In Harry's house, Harry was confused by his father.
"Harry You're bringing your Girlfriend over tomorrow night! Do you hear me?" Norman Osborn shouted as he took a bite of steak "And bring Peter, he seems like a nice kid"
"You met Peter!?" Harry asked in confusion and anger "When did you have the time?"
"At the Octavius presentation, it went horribly by the way. The top floor of Oscorp Tower below outward" Norman said "And Harry use this to dress yourself, and your girlfriend if you wish"
"I never liked Spider-Man" Harry said.
"Yes, neither do i, but I can't help but admire his thievery skills." Norman said with a grin as Harry perked up.
"What do you mean?" Harry asked in confusion as his father frowned.
"Son, years ago In 1991, Our company was working on spiders and we contained each of them until 2006, One was missing, and there is no footage of it ever being taken" Norman said as Harry thought about that "There were twelve spiders, we have eleven more, each with unique capabilities, and they are all slightly radioactive."
"Then why not destroy them?" Harry asked as Norman frowned.
"Because we believe they could cure diseases like cancer, specifically Arachnidus Goblinus" Norman said as he showed Harry a holographic image of a dark green spider that crawled around, it had large black fangs, and fuzz on it's abdomen.
"Why do we keep these a secret then, we should have as many scientists as possible working on them?" Harry asked as Norman shook his head.
"If we do that, the discovery and money will not go to us, we could fall apart as a company." Norman said as he turned of the hologram, and walked away, leaving his son in confusion.
