Part 9

Brooklyn Hospital Center, 5/16/2008 10:00 am

Dr. Octavius laid face down on a hospital bed, his tentacles hidden inside of his spine. A doctor then opened the double doors, and stepped up to Dr. Octavius, and inspected him. The doctor then brought out a surgeon's knife, and brought it down to Octavius' back, but suddenly a snap, followed by a slithering sound happened and the doctor began to step away.

Suddenly the Robotic tentacles came out from Dr. Octavius' back and planted themselves on the floor, and helped Octavius to his feet. Suddenly Octavius' eyes snapped open and he looked around.

"Where am I?" Dr. Octavius shouted as he looked around, and then he looked at the surgeon "What have you done with me!?"

One of the Tentacles then went right up to Octavius' face, and he heard a strange voice.

"We saved you" the voice said.

"You made us and we wish to show our gratitude" a second voice said.

"We are the Octopus device that you created" a third voice said.

"We can give you power" a fourth voice said.

"We can be ... Doctor Octopus!" The four voices said in unison.

The surgeon rushed out of the room as Dr. Octavius nodded to his tentacles. Dr. Octavius then burst through the wall and shouted.

"Do you know who I am?!" Dr. Octavius shouted as the surgeon nodded and began sobbing silently.

"D-Dr. Octavius" the surgeon said as he continued to sob and attempted to stay away from Octavius as he walked forward.

"No! I am Dr. Otto Gunther Octavius! Henceforth known as Doctor Octopus!" Doctor Octopus shouted as his tentacles set him down, and went into the surgeons' face in a menacing fashion.

"Now point me to the nearest bank" Doctor Octopus said with a smile as he adjusted his special glasses, with a glass that could withstand temperatures of over 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
