"you can't find me!" you giggle, running to find a hiding spot in the large yard. finding a bush, you squat behind it and quietly hide in it.

one of your best friends, bill, calls out, "yes i can! 1..2..3!"

he begins to run throughout the yard, checking every crevice he sees. all of a sudden, you hear something beside you. "wh-" you say, but are stopped. "shh," tom, bill's twin, shushes, "we wanna be quiet."

you get a glimpse of bill, who squints his eyes. a small smirk appears on his face as he runs in you and toms direction, yelling out, "found you two!"

he tags you both and giggles excitedly. "alright, you guys, lunch break!" tom and bill's mom call from the door.

all three of you walk in to tom and bill's mom greeting you with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with apple juice. "take a break from outside, it's getting a little hot out." she says. "but mom, we haven't finished our game yet!" bill whines.

"you can finish your game in 10 minutes, now eat." she smiles, pointing to the food on his plate. bill looks at you and whispers, "georg and gustav are probably gonna come over, they found this cool new spot out in the trees."

tom joins the conversation. "cool!" he smirks.

within 5 minutes, a knock is heard at the door. bill immediately gets up and opens the door, only to see georg and gustav standing there. "you guys ready?" they ask. all three of you nod in response.

"mom, we're going out again!" tom yells, and she gives an "okay" as response. and with that, all five of you head out.

all three of you begin to walk through the trees. "alright guys, now be on the lookout for a big old treehouse. it's a little far, but not too far." georg calls out. all three of you nod and begin to look around.

as you begin to look around, you don't notice the rock in front of your feet and suddenly trip, landing on your arms. "ouch!" you exclaim, and bill immediately runs to your side. "y/n, are you okay?" he asks worriedly. he grabs your hand, making your heart skip a beat as he pulls you up.

he dusts the dirt off your legs and stares into your eyes with that heartwarming smile of his. your cheeks flush red as he continues to hold your hand.

"let's catch up now." he giggles and you run to catch back up with the other three.

finally, you found it. a large treehouse that looked completely abandoned.

"alright guys, be super careful." gustav says as tom begins to climb up the ladder. tom is followed by you, who is then followed by bill, georg, then gustav. all five of you reach the top and you are immediately taken aback by the setup they had already accomplished.

"you guys like it?"

you, tom, and bill are astonished by the music equipment they managed to get up here. an electric guitar, bass guitar, microphone, and some smaller drums. they managed to bring a circuit to plug the equipment into as well.

"this is so cool!!" you exclaim. bill and tom are astonished as they stare at the equipment.

"what are you starin' at? let's get to it!" gustav exclaims.

and with that, you all began to practice. bill shared the mic with you as you two sang your favorite songs and tom took the electric guitar with georg taking the bass guitar and gustav taking the drums.

you blushed and giggled as all five of you had a blast and bill sang with you. he smiled at you as you two sang your hearts out.

once all of you got worn out, you rested in the old treehouse. "i'm pretty hungry right now, do you guys think we should get snacks?" tom asked.

all of you nodded in agreement, but you realized you'd have to go back to the house for more snacks. "i can go get some at my place. my place is closer than bill and toms." georg said.

"alright, who wants to come? i'll be right back." he said. "me! me!" tom exclaims. gustav also agreed to come.

"okay, you two, sit tight. we'll be back." gustav said and the three of them climbed down.

now it was just you and bill.

you two looked at each other until bill spoke and said, "you know.. you're really good at singing." he smiled. "you are too." you responded, smiling back.

"i really hope to have my own band. i mean.. we technically are a band, but a real band who makes actual music." bill thought, smiling at the thought. "i think that would be amazing." you giggled.

"and i want you to be a part of it." bill smiled. "that sounds fun, but i've also always wanted to be an actress." you say.

"well, we both at the same time!" he crawls closer to you. "pleaseeee." he begs. you giggle, "okay!"

"yay!" he exclaims, hugging you. you hug him back and feel butterflies in your stomach. he pulls back and smiles at you. his smile is adorable. you thought, blushing.

"you want to be an actress, right?" bill asked, to which you nodded. "what's your favorite movie scene?" he asked. that made you think.

"hmm.. i really like the titanic scene of jack and rose when they're on the edge of the boat." you reply, thinking about it.

"let's recreate it!" he says excitedly. "wh-" you try to speak, but it's too late. he grabs your arm and pulls you up. he takes you toward the window and wraps his arms around you. you both recite the lines as he holds you and you look out the window. you both giggle and your cheeks flush red.

after about an hour or so, they're still not back yet. you and bill get suspicious, they should definitely be back out. soon enough, the sky got dark.

you were very nervous by now, your mom would kill you. "bill, what should we do?" you ask nervously. "hey, don't worry about it. i'm sure they'll be back, they wouldn't just abandon us." he reassures you.

you just nod, but deep down your anxiety wouldn't let you relax. with another 20 minutes, they finally came back. but this time, it was already dark out.

"bill! y/n! come down!" they yell.

you both immediately climb down and ask why they were gone so long. "you scared us!" bill yells.

"we're sorry, we got lost." tom explains. you sigh, just thankful that you can (mostly) relax now.

"let's go back, be careful guys." gustav says.

you begin on your journey back to tom and bill's house and within 10 minutes you were finally back. however, it was already very dark out.

"y/n, you should get going now." bill sadly says. you frown and give the twins a hug along with gustav and georg. "thanks guys, see you tomorrow!" you exclaim, running to your house that was beside theirs.

they waved and you walked into your house, expecting your mom to yell at you. and you were right.

"where have you been?! i've been meaning to talk to you about something incredibly important, young lady." she angrily says. "mom, i'm okay. we were hanging out in this old treehouse." you explain. she scoffs and sits you down.

"what is it?" you asked.

"y/n... we're moving."
