you nervously walk out with hanna, who stands at the end of the stage, out of sight from all of the lights and cameras.

the lights nearly blinded you from how bright they were, and you felt your heart beating out of your chest.

they advise you to stop at a certain point as the host, the man from earlier, sits down in his chair. the producers begin to count down from three to one as they begin rolling.

"welcome everyone to the tonight show with yours truly, issac schneider!" he smiles and the audience begins to clap.

"today we have a very special guest, with now achieving over 500,000 views on youtube from a cover of the popular song 'bring me to life' by evanescence in just two days," he begins, "please welcome y/n lehmann!" he exclaims, his arms pointing towards your direction as you walk on stage.

you happily wave at the audience, sitting down in the chair in front of mr. schneider. you politely smile at him. "thank you so much for joining us today, y/n!" he thanks you.

"thank you for inviting me! this is such a pleasure to be here." you thank him back.

"of course. so, i understand you're an aspiring music artist?" he asks.

"well, i've actually always been interesting in music. however, i've always had a strong passion for acting as well." you respond.

"that's great! so, when did this passion for music begin?"

you clear your throat, thinking back to when you were a kid. "when i was a young kid, i had a group of friends that were my neighbors. we had all grown up together, and we had a small band where we'd play in a garage. one of them and i sang and one of them was a bassist, another was a guitarist, and another a drummer." you explain. he nods in response to your answer, taking all of the information in. you were thankful he didn't ask for more information about who they were.

"what suddenly sparked your interest to upload a video online?" he asks.

"well, i actually currently reside in america and am back at germany for a short while for relatives. i visited my old neighborhood, and met a relative of my friends as a kid that i was in the group with. she's here with me today, and she practically begged me to play and she just uploaded the video. i actually wasn't even aware she uploaded it." you chuckled.

"we're very glad she did! you have some true talent. and how did long did it take you to practice.

"i used to play the song about a year ago, but i relearned it in a couple hours."

"wow! that's amazing." he says, shocked. you smile and laugh at his reaction as the audience obviously seems surprised and impressed by your answer.

"and what about this passion for acting, do you plan on becoming an actress?" he asks.

"i hope so. i'm trying out auditions for roles, so just wish me luck." you chuckle and he laughs along with the audience.

"and what about music? do you plan on releasing anything?"

"that's definitely something i plan on trying."

after a few more questions regarding your passions and your life, he announces it's time for your cover of 'bring me to life' and 'welcome to the black parade'.

the staff helps you set up and you bring your electric guitar out. there was already a band helping with the instrumentals, which you thanked them for. he gives you a thumbs up, and you respond back with another thumbs up.

once again, they count down from three and within a couple seconds, the track of 'welcome to the black parade' begins to play and they begin rolling.

you were incredibly nervous, but just imagined no one was there in the audience or watching you. just like when you were in your room alone practicing, you pretended no one was there.

once the track begins to play, you immediately begin playing your guitar and the band begins to play, and you wait for your cue to sing.

when i was a young boy
my father took me into the city
to see a marching band...

you sing passionately, and play your guitar like your like depended on it.

hanna silently cheered for you on the sideline, and was jumping up and down with excitement.

once the song is done, everyone starts cheering and clapping.

now it was time for 'bring me to life'. but suddenly, mr. schneider came up to you. "it's okay if you'd like to take a break now. we can give you 5 minutes." he smiles wholeheartedly at you. "thank you." you smile at him and exhale once he walks away.

hanna asks for permission to speak to you, which they grant and she begins to run over to you.

"y/n! that was amazing!" she hugs you. "one song left!" you giggle.

"you'll do amazingly." she smiles. "thank you, hanna." you smile and she walks back to the sideline to cheer you on.

"alright! in 3...2...1...go!" they countdown, and begin rolling once again as the track plays.

you were prepared for this song, but you still managed to concentrate deeply on it.

you begin to sing once again and play your guitar.

now that i know what i'm without, you can't just leave me
breathe into me and make me real

the song was intense, so you focused and managed to play it well.

soon, the song was over, and everyone was clapping and cheering.

"wow, that was amazing!" mr. schneider applaudes you, standing up from his seat. you smile and thank everyone.

everyone was basically wrapping up the show now and the host concludes the show.

"thank you everyone for tuning in to see the next rockstar sensation, y/n lehmann! until next time!"

and with that, the show was concluded.

mr. schneider walks over to you and praises you for your performance. "that was an amazing performance, y/n. you have some amazing potential out there." he smiles, putting a hand on your shoulder.

"thank you, mr. schneider. it means a lot." you thank him.

"please, call me isaac. and please feel welcome to come on the show anytime." he says, and with that, if was time to go.

"y/n, you were incredible! that was so great!" hanna excitedly squeals.

"it was so nerve wrecking!" you sigh, putting your guitar in its case.

"i can't imagine how many people are going to be tuning in tonight." she thinks, placing her hand on her chin as if she was thinking hard about it.

you groan, "i don't want to imagine. so many people will just be watching me."

"as if 500,000 people haven't seen you play guitar online." she snickers and laughs.

you nudge her and roll your eyes, to which she chuckles at.

"so, what do you say we get some starbucks?"
