after you and hanna finish off your trip, you call your mom letting her know you're coming back.

she asks how it went, to which you respond, "i think it went okay." but hanna interrupts, "she did AMAZING!"

your mom laughs and congratulates you, and soon you hang up.

"guess who's gonna be watching you tonight." she jokingly pokes you, obviously teasing you about you-know-who.

"hey! i'm trying to drive here." you say, your face turning red.

"your face is red!" she laughs.

"it's pretty obvious you like bill, y/n." she smirks.

"even if i did, he has a girlfriend." you sigh, paying attention to the road. you felt a pang of jealousy.

you couldn't help but imagine you in his girlfriend, aurora's shoes. a superstar boyfriend, an amazing acting career, and more. fame wasn't all that, but knowing you probably couldn't compete to her hurt you the most.

"it's too silent in here." hanna complains, turning on the radio. and of course, the first thing that plays is tokio hotel.

"oh, what a coincidence!" hanna laughs, jamming out to their song.

"c'mon, y/n! sing with me!" hanna whines, and you shake your head. "pleaseeeeee." she begs. eventually, you give in and both of you start singing along to the song.

once the song is over, they start talking about the group.

"have you heard bill kaulitz is dating aurora hansen?" one man says over the radio.

"where have you been if you haven't heard this information yet?" another says.

"the two were just seen out in public yesterday, their second public appearance since dating just two months ago." the first man states.

"reportedly, they were on a date at a fancy restaurant at the center of berlin. the two were seen holding hands and kissing." the man says, as if he was reading an article. you couldn't hear anymore, so you start reaching for the radio to turn it off.

hanna looks at you, obviously understanding why you turned it off.

"you okay, y/n?"

you just silently nod, staring at the road ahead of you.

once you got home, your mom and uncle gave you a tight hug.

"i'm so proud of you, y/n." she cries, tearing up. "i bet you did amazing, kid." your uncle congratulates you.

"thank you, guys." you smile, hugging back tightly. to have them congratulate you made you feel so incredibly happy.

"i'm so sorry i couldn't be there, y/n." your mom apologizes, staring at you with a tear streaming down her face.

"mom, it's okay. i understand." you reassure her, putting a hand on her shoulder. "hanna was there to help me, she was amazing." you smile at your mother, motioning towards hanna's direction.

your mom thabks hanna for her assistance with you, and hanna smiles and gives her a "you're welcome".

"we will all be sitting down and watching your performance tonight!" your mom claps, all giddy with excitement for her daughter's milestone.

"hanna, feel free to ask your grandmother to come over." your mom tells her, to which she nods and immediately calls her grandmother to speak to her about the event.

and with that, there was only an hour left until your performance would be aired.

it was finally time for your performance to be aired, your mom had even brought out popcorn and drinks for everyone.
