y/n's pov

i successfully made it back to tom and bill's place from a taxi, holding the card for the elite modeling management in my hand.

i walk up to the door, giving it a knock before bill opens it and widely smiles at me.

"made it back?"

"yup."

i walk in and he grins at me. "why so happy?" he chuckles, sitting on the sofa's arm and staring up af me.

"you'll never guess what happened." i try not to squeal.

"what happened?" he asks.

"this guy was at the studio and he works for the elite modeling agency, he wants me to be on the next cover of vogue." i jump up and down with excitement.

"holy shit, that's amazing!" he widens his eyes, standing up and beginning to jump and squeal with me, giving me a hug.

"my y/n is becoming a worldwide star." he pouts, and i giggle at his behavior.

he pulled away and stared at me, but his arms still remained wrapped around my waist as he stared down at me. he was doing that thing he did before.

he stared at my face, as if he was at a loss of words. his eyes traveled to my eyes to my lips then quickly back to my eyes again. i stared back into his eyes, noticing how he was wearing no makeup and his hair was straighter.

"no wonder they wanted you on the cover of vogue."

my face burns red and he gives me an innocent smile before backing away from me. suddenly a call erupts from his phone and he excuses himself from the room, walking to the kitchen as i nervously exhale, trying to calm myself down from what just happened. he always managed to make me so nervous, yet so safe.

i walk back to my room, only to hear some talking coming from toms room down the hall. i furrow my eyebrows as i notice it's tom's voice, followed by aurora's. what the hell?

i quietly walk down the hallway and listen in on their conversation. i know it's wrong, but it seems so suspicious. tom doesn't even like aurora.

"aurora, i don't want anything to do with you. give it up."

"c'mon, just make sure y/n and bill don't get too close. please?" i hear her beg. my eyes widen and i furrow my eyebrows.

was she seriously that insecure?

"you're not even in love with my brother. i can see it. y/n is our friend, you shouldn't be worried about them if you and bill are together. bill is always dedicated to his relationships, so if you feel this insecure then maybe you should find another guy." i hear him scoff.

"he's in a relationship with me, so he needs to be dedicated to me 24/7. not some other girl who comes into the picture." she argues back.

"i'm not doing shit for you."

i smile at tom's words and i hear walking from the other side, so i sneakily walk back to my room, silently closing the door.

once i walk into my room, i let out a breath i didn't know i was holding. why the fuck does aurora feel so insecure that she feels the need to try to get tom to damage bill and i's friendship?

i roll my eyes and feel like screaming. fucking celebrity girls that think they can get whatever they want.

after about ten minutes, i hear shuffling downstairs. i peek my head out and look over the ledge of the upstairs balcony. tom and bill were talking about something, obviously somewhat stressed out.
