Before the chapter begins I wanted to thank everyone for getting us to 200+ reads! So quickly and just an amazing first milestone to reach, I can't wait to see where this book goes in regards to it's growth!
Before Kaminari fell asleep - Saturday night - he set multiple alarms as it was definitely needed to make sure he woke up on time. Five alarms went off until he opened his eyes and woke up. Yawning and stretching his arms, he hopped off the bed and checked his spiderman digital clock. Twelve o'clock. Perfect timing as an hour would be more than enough for him to be ready and seated on the common room couches. After some careful consideration, he wears an outfit consisting of black leggings with a large Pikachu hoodie. He still didn't know where his boyfriend was taking him so comfort was the best choice, he can be comfy anywhere, mwahaha.
The part of Kirishima's outfit that stood out to Kaminari was the red crocs. "You'd never part with them, babe." The golden-haired boy giggles while Kirishima takes his small hands into his own.
"Never, it would be a crime against manliness!" He laughed.
With a looming amount of impatience, Denki had no problems in leaving straight away.
Bakugo had just found out on the news about the boys' relationship. In credit to Mina calling him. He responded with a huff of "I fucking knew it" while laughing along with his friend. As someone who finds relationships odd, he struggled to understand the appeal in all that stuff. It first began with him realising his lack of attraction to anyone. He worried about if there was something wrong with him for it until he became familiarised with asexuality and the subgroups underneath it. Let's just say it was a massive weight off his shoulders when he came to terms that he belonged within that spectrum.
The day was covered in sprinkles of sunshine, complimenting the first date. Kirishima made sure to check all things - including the weather - before choosing the day as he didn't want anything to go wrong. Soft fingers intertwined with rougher ones, swinging in unison as they made their way to the mystery destination. Kirishima was in awe at how expressive his boyfriend was as he skipped along next to him. The pair turned at a sharp left which made the theme park visible. Denki gasped in excitement, he was so thrilled!
Kirishima nudged him playfully. "Come on, it won't be open all day!"
They grinned at each other and joined hands again as they walked past the gates. The atmosphere around them was busy and soft, gentle lights that faded into the bright sky. If you focused hard enough on the surroundings, ignoring the chatter, you could make out the subtle pop music that buzzed. A classic theme park. With the variety of options ahead, Kirishima turned to ask.
"Where should we start, Denks?"
Denki mumbled to himself, thinking of the choices as his head turned around like a chicken. "Let's do that one!" He points ahead with a grin. The roller-coaster was medium sized with a decent gradient of a ramp, zombies decorated it with the name, "Frankie's ride!" The boys were strapped in and giggled when the carts started to move. Whirling from side to side, arms in the air and screams as the ride sped up going down the ramp. Denki cheered in adrenaline but others felt differently about it, Kirishima sharing the level of screams.
Afterwards, they went on more rides and kept the silly pictures that were taken. To have a break from the fast spinning, they went to the stalls to buy a bucket of candyfloss. Whilst Denki gobbled up the pink clouds, Kirishima concentrated on throwing the hoops far enough to rest on the bottles. He unfortunately wasn't having any luck and won no prize.
"Awh, man!"
"It's alright Kiri, these things happen!"
They walked away and Kirishima pouted. "It's rigged against me!"
Denki smiled, patting him on the shoulder reassuringly. All that mattered to him was the passion his boyfriend had.
"There's one more thing I want to do before we go." Kaminari pointed over to the left, where the ferris wheel spun. The redhead had no reason to disagree so once the ride emptied the past group, the two sat in one of the carts. The timing was gorgeous, a pastel pink sky as the moon rises, the artificial neon lights that covered the park began to take the spotlight. A dash of romance lingered in the air and Denki took the opportunity to rest his head on his boyfriend's chest as the ride slowly moved in clockwise motion. The air cooled with some passing wind that messed up the blonde's hair, more than it already was. He could just drift off to sleep and that would be okay because he's with a boy he trusted with his whole electric heart.
