Mitsuki barged into her son's room. The door bashed the wall as she stepped inside, eyes scanning her son. Bakugo wasn't pleased to say the least, he stared back at his mother. A part of him was weirded out by it, due to the fact that he hadn't seen his mother through all of yesterday. And now she acted as if yesterday ceased to exist.

"Hey, Brat. Get up or you'll be late for school."

Bakugo lips receded. What in the fuck? Is he hallucinating? Has he finally lost it? "The fuck? Hag, you weren't able to get out of bed yesterday and now you're here nagging me?"

His mother put her hand on her hip, rolling her eyes. "The world isn't your pity party. You've missed enough school so get up, you're not leeching off us."

She slammed the door behind her as Bakugo stood up. Ouch. It was like his mother grabbed his hand and twisted it backwards in the power of words. His eyes became glossy as he realised the lack of care his mother truly felt. She knew, she knew, she knew. Despite that, she continued to scold him like the waste off space he was. The whole fucking cycle was tiring. From his mother showing him warmth to him letting his walls down and then being betrayed in the process, it was all a cruel game. A repeating game where Bakugo punched at himself for each time he would blindly trust his mother, after all the reasons to be cautious. He couldn't be cautious as much as his brain told him to, she was his damn mother. For her to love him underneath everything was what he begged. Life was twisted in moments like these, toying with the blonde's feelings like a TV show.

There's nothing more he wants to do than jump off his roof, would his mother even miss him? Or would she tell him off for ruining the concrete?

He needed to push that shit aside and focus on the greater issue: school. He has to face all his classmates... and his teacher, after everything. How it turned out is anyone's guess and that scared Bakugo. What if they gave up on him like his mother? Would they forget him?

No, he thought, shaking his head. Stop thinking is what he needs to do. Throwing the uniform on, he walked downstairs and ignored his mother. His legs dragged as he entered the school grounds. He was very tempted to run for it but the memory of yesterday with his father gave him enough strength to at least try today.

He pulled the door open, late into the class. Something that he's been doing too much of lately. His teacher looked over and gave an instruction to the class as he quickly walked over to Bakugo. Aizawa signalled the boy to follow and he did, until they entered the teacher's lounge.

"What about the class?" Bakugo sat on a seat, looking up at his teacher with an eyebrow raised.

"I will go back to them but before I do, wait here. I am free next lesson so we can talk then."

"Fine."

Aizawa returned to the lounge, relieved to see his student. Midnight was also there, tapping along a keyboard. He handed Bakugo an object he recognised. The blonde perked up to see the bear from before, it was okay! Brick had some scratches littered around but was kept together regardless, which he didn't expect. He traced along the scars, muttering a gentle "thank you" to his sensei. It was a wonder how he found the bear.

"Can we talk here, kid? Or would you prefer just us?"

Bakugo looked over at Midnight and shrugged. "Here's fine."

"Well, I talked with your mother about it and I think trying counciling would help you. We could have done that before but I know you preferred leaving your mother out of it. But I think it's needed."

Bakugo pulled the ear of the bear, flicking it. He didn't consider seeking therapy until now and it didn't sound good. "Will it ruin my chances of being a hero?"

His teacher shook his head. "It's confidential and more common than you may think. Seeking therapy is viewed as taboo when it shouldn't be. I'd recommend to at least try it, before deciding."

"I'm not sure."

"That is okay, we can take it slow."

"I'm sorry for the trouble I've caused." Bakugo hung his head down, curling up on himself.

"I feel you don't believe it so I'll say it again. You're important to many people. You deserve to feel respected here, so here."

A pair of keys were passed to Bakugo, he held them. Soon after, he realised. "Are you... sure?"

"My spare room needs some life." Aizawa smiled, "I trust you kid. You can join our lessons tomorrow, while I go back to teach you can work on moving your stuff up there."

Bakugo took a deep breath and walked over to his teacher, giving him a hug. He patted him back and then walked away, unable the hide the smile about having his student back at school. The boy realised how he hugged his teacher and groaned in embarrassment.

He had forgotten that Midnight was also in the lounge, she leaned back on her chair. "Go decorate his boring room, punk."

Bakugo smirked and left, he entered his dorm room, looked around. It'll likely take a few hours to clean out his dorm and move everything upstairs but he'd handle it, especially as he has a new feeling of motivation inside.

Aizawa returned to the class for their history lesson. He noticed Midoriya had his hand up immediately and looked over. "What is it, problem kid?"

"Is Kacchan okay?"

"Yes, he is okay. Tomorrow he will be back and if he is comfortable he will update you, otherwise do not pressure him. Now, no more discussions about it."

Midoriya nodded and opened his notebook, writing down something that not even Pythagoras could solve. Aoyama twirled his golden locks around.

Bakugo nearly collapsed when he dropped the ten cans of Monster Energy onto the bed. God, that was heavy. Was that it? He believes he brought everything. But the soft duck wasn't around? He could have sworn he brought it here before. Unless, he got confused.

"Fuck..." Bakugo groaned as he left the room. He walked down the hallway and paused, he saw the duck sitting on the couch. How the fuck did the duck get there? Did it come to life?! He scratched his head and blinked multiple times, eventually giving up on understanding and grabbing the duck to take back to his room. The duck was tucked under the blankets and Bakugo rubbed his hands together. His job was done and he did a pretty good job if he said so himself.
