Masaru smiled like a tour guide, spreading his arms around. "Where should we start? There's so much to do."
"Let's go back home." Bakugo cackled, turning back.
His father pulled him back by the shoulder. "Very funny, Kats. But let's actually do something. Do you want to go to the book shop to buy your mungas?"
"It's manga, not munga. Sure, I guess I could get some more."
The boy followed his smiling father to the bookshop nearby, the simple map told them that the large shop contained manga on the first floor so they went up the stairs. Bakugo led, finding the section shortly and waved his father off.
"I'll be back in a bit!"
"Whatever." Bakugo debated where to start looking, the section was larger than most shops. He supposed it would be smartest to go by alphabetical order so he went to the series that begun with the letter A and worked his way around. As he skimmed through he saw a manga with the asexual flag and felt intrigued to pull it out. He had never seen a manga representing asexuality before, he couldn't help but smile at it. He held on to "Is love the answer?" And continued looking. He had been interested in Spy x family and took the first volume. Soon enough, he had five mangas in his arms and went to search for his dad as he didn't bring any money.
"Ready to go?"
"Yeah, hurry up!" Bakugo swiftly walked ahead and waited for his 'old man' at the check out. The guy asked if he had a club card and Bakugo handed him his to get a discount off the total.
Bakugo walked out with his mangas in a paper bag. He looked up to his father. "Can we eat something?"

Mitsuki's husband told her about his plans to take their son out, she was too exhausted emotionally to argue otherwise and allowed it. She did appreciate the peace in the house. Legs flung over the bed and she walked with her slippers to the bathroom. With all the sleep she was able to get, her eyes looked irritated. Maybe it was the crying that added to it. She fixed up her face a bit and then went downstairs, smelling burnt bread she playfully rolls her eyes. She opened the fridge to scan for what they had and found a bottle of beer. She pulled it out and closed the fridge. It was 10am so questionable for Mitsuki to have it so early but she needed a pick me up after the news of her son's mental health.
"There has been multiple instances of Katsuki trying to end his life. Is there anything in his home life that could contribute to it?"
Mitsuki paced around in the kitchen, phone clasped in her hand as it pressed against her ear. For him to be acting so disgraceful! To make the family look terrible and abusive for him to feel this way. She tried to feel mad about it but the lack of motherly instincts she had made her sorrowful for the pain her child is going through. Was the tough love she so strongly believed in the reason for it all? That didn't make sense as she thought it would protect him. She wanted her boy to grow up strong so he couldn't hurt or be vulnerable to the dangerous world they live in, she needed to be a tough figure to inspire and guide. But she had failed for her son didn't even want to breathe. She had really fucked up.
Mitsuki broke out into multiple sobs, taking sips of beer between them. The harsh burn of alcohol couldn't take away the consuming guilt she felt, it ate at her over and over again.

It was late and Bakugo rested on his dad's shoulder as the train moved. He felt tired from the eventful day as his energy has been lower than usual lately however, he did enjoy it. He had a nice time with his dad, he was much more relaxed than when he went shopping with his mother who could have a nervous breakdown over anything. He was stirred awake as they got off their final train and began the walk back home. It was chilly but a full moon above. Bakugo looked up at it to see the glow and he felt his own form of warmth inside. He then observed his father who seemed lost in thought and Bakugo called for him.
"Thanks for today, I did enjoy it."
His father playfully messed his hair and Bakugo groaned. "We'll do more of them son! See, I'm much more fun than your mum."
He couldn't help but snort at that.
