Aizawa was surprised how quickly they had managed to get in touch with someone and how professional that girl seemed. Apparently, she used to be one of Hizashi's students for a year, but then switched to the management department of U.A. She was running a middle-sized hero agency and was making good money, but she did like using her Quirk for little things like that on the downlow.
It seemed that she had made it as far as she did by digging up some dirt on her competitors and strategically eliminating them. Aizawa would have questioned that kind of strategy if he wasn't here asking her to do something somewhat illegal for him. As it was, he wasn't really in a position to call out someone else's methods as questionable. Plus, he was glad that she didn't seem to have a problem with a bit of crime, otherwise he'd be stuck for options. Maybe Nemuri had been right about it being better if he had gone the official way. Still, here he was, camping out with this woman, waiting for Haruto to leave.
Thankfully, this girl wasn't too chatty. Or rather she had been chatty, but she had quickly realised that Aizawa preferred to have his peace and quiet and was acting accordingly. Aizawa was glad that she stayed mostly quiet now. He had been a little worried when Hizashi said that she had been in his class and that they had always gotten along well, because Hizashi usually got along well with exceptionally annoying people. But she was alright. Now all they had to do was wait for Haruto to leave.
Of course, now that Aizawa had a plan, he was taking his sweet time getting ready to buy some groceries. It was really annoying that he had been counting on Haruto having a somewhat regular schedule and now he was just staying inside. Surely, he had to run out of food soon, didn't he? Unless he had other plans...
One of Aizawa's big fears was that Haruto had somehow found out about him talking to Y/N and that he had done something drastic. Something like killing Y/N and then himself. He had started worrying after he hadn't seen Haruto leave the house for the last two days. It was high time for his next grocery trip, but it seemed like he wasn't too pushed to get more food. At least, Aizawa could still see the lights in the window during the evening and at night, which meant that someone in the house was alive.
But he could see that the girl Hizashi had arranged to meet up with him was getting a little impatient. He wasn't sure how long she would be able to stay here or whether she could be on call or anything like that. If Haruto wasn't leaving within the next few hours, they might have to go in while he was still there and that would make everything much more dangerous. For both him and Y/N.
Or they would have to wait for a while and try again, which really wasn't something that Aizawa wanted to do. He had promised Y/N that he would get her out of there as soon as possible. He wanted to keep that promise, no matter what. So maybe he would have to go in while Haruto was still there. He'd easily be able to knock him out, but if he somehow got to Y/N before that, everything could change.
While Aizawa was going through his options, he almost missed that there was some movement in the house. He barely noticed it in time to see that the front door was opening, and Haruto left the house, his shopping bag in his hands. Finally. Aizawa was worried that he was never going to leave the place.
He was standing outside the front door, locking it behind him, and then took his time taking in his surroundings, looking as if he was just going to go on a leisurely walk or something like that. He didn't look like a man who had imprisoned his own wife, so he could continue beating her and controlling her. But wasn't that always the case? It was the ones that you'd least suspect, after all. The nice men from next door, the ones that looked good and were charming. The ones that always seemed so friendly.
"Are we going in?" the girl quietly asked Aizawa. He startled a little, not being used to someone else being around.
"Not yet. We'll have to wait for a little bit. Let him walk off, down the street and then I'd say we wait maybe five or ten minutes more, just to be safe." Aizawa replied. The girl nodded, clearly looking much more excited now that she could do the job she came here to do. She seemed to be itching for that break-in.
