It's been a few weeks now since I've seen Scarlett. She's began filming again and when she has her days off she hangs out with Colin usually. But tonight Scarlett agreed to finally come hang out with me. She's not thrilled that Liv is coming along but she says she misses me and will deal with Liv so we can spend time with each other. I finish up getting ready, excited to see Scarlett after not seeing her for weeks. Once I finish I head towards my front door when my phone starts ringing and it's Scarlett. "Hey Scar! I'm heading out now."

"Hey Y/n.. Uh I have bad news." She says quietly as I go to open the door.

"What is it? Did something happen? Are you ok?" I question her, worried she's been hurt or something.

"I'm fine, don't worry. I just... I have to cancel. I wont be able to make it tonight."

"Oh... Is everything ok? Why won't you be able to?" I query walking out of my apartment shoving my free hand in my pocket.

"Yea I'm just really exhausted from work, and I know you were really excited I was too! But I think I'm just going to stay home. Colin wants to come over so I might let him come over." I bite my tongue at the last sentence she said. "I'm sorry! I was super excited but I just can't tonight."

I sigh in frustration looking down at my feet as I now stand in the elevator. "It's... fine. I understand your exhausted. We can just hang out on your next day off. I guess." I grumble to myself and walk out of the elevator.

"I'll make it up to you I promise!"

"It's fine don't worry about it." I walk out to my car still just watching the floor as I go. "I told you, I understand."

"Y/n..." She says quietly, almost in a whisper.

"I'm at my car now. You should get some well deserved rest and I'll talk to you later ok?" I frown unlocking my car as silence ensues between us.

"I'm sorry again! I have another day off next week, I promise I'll save that day for us to hangout."

"It's ok. I look forward to hanging out next week then. I'll talk to you tomorrow." I climb into my car and start the car.

"I do too. See you later, bye"

"Bye." I hang up setting my phone down in the cupholder in frustration. So I pull out of the parking spot and drive off to meet Liv at her house, stewing in my annoyance of Scarlett cancelling. After a little bit of driving and getting progressively more annoyed I finally arrive at Liv's house. When I pull up to her house I see her standing at her front door, she sees me and waves prompting me to get out of the car.

"Hey Y/n. Did you want to take my car or yours?" She queries as I walk over to her.

"Uh. We can take mine." I shrug putting my hands in my pants pockets.

"Is Scarlett meeting us there?" She tilts her head slightly with a smile.

"She's not coming. She cancelled last second." I frown looking down at the floor again. "She said she was exhausted from work. So no hanging out. I haven't seen her in weeks but you know it's fine." I grumble in annoyance now crossing my arms.

Liv silently stares at me silently for a few moments then steps closer to me with a smile. "I'm sorry she cancelled." She places her hands on my arms, "Hey I have an idea. Why don't we just hang out here? We can order some food and have drinks. You can talk about your frustrations, or we can just talk about whatever. Would you like to do that?"

I think for a minute and honestly I'm liking that idea a lot more. "That sounds much better then going out to a restaurant. You don't mind doing that?" I check with her.

"I don't mind at all. That's why I suggested it silly." She smiles softly at me and grabs my hand. "Let's go inside and we can figure out something to eat." So I nod in agreement and follow her into her house. "Make yourself comfortable."

"I appreciate the change of plans to just hang out here." I smile following her into the living room and taking a seat on her couch.

"Of course! I thought it'd be more comfortable if we just stayed here instead." She smiles scooting closer to me while pulling her phone out. "Now I'm hungry, let's figure something out to eat."

We order some food once we figure out what we want then begin drinking and talking while we wait for the food to arrive. Then when our takeout arrives we continue drinking, talking and eating. "Like I can't even be that pissed off! I'm not mad that she's tired and doesn't want to come out I get it. I'm just so annoyed that she cancelled last second." I complain already kind of drunk and take another gulp of my fourth bottle of beer. "I'm sorry I've just been complaining. You're probably getting annoyed at me." I laugh, finishing off my fourth beer.

"No no it's alright! I'm not annoyed. But I understand why you're annoyed with her. I'm sure she feels bad about cancelling." She smiles placing her hand on mine making me smile back at her.

"Well I appreciate you sitting here listening to me complain." I chuckle still smiling over at her, really looking at her.

"No problem. I don't mind listening." She winks playfully then stands up from the couch. "Want another beer?"

I think looking at the time on my phone then shrugs, "Sure why not? I'll just stay for a little longer"

"Great!" She giggles and hurries into the kitchen then comes back out a few minutes later holding two beers. "Here you go" She places the opened bottle in front of me and sits back down. "Are you feeling better after talking about why you're annoyed?"

"I do, thank you." I smile, grabbing the bottle she set in front of me and takes a drink.

"I actually want to talk to you about something..." I look over at her, her facial expression now looking nervous.

"What is it?" I watch as she grabs her beer taking a few gulps then sets it back on the table, waiting for her to tell me what's going on.

"You remember when I said I had a crush on someone?"

"Yea I remember. Why?" I look at her confused as she takes a deep breath.

"It's you. Over the past few weeks, I've really enjoyed getting to know you better. And I've developed feelings for you." I stare at her wide eyed, shocked at what she just told me. Also shocked that Talia was right a couple weeks ago. "And you don't have to say anything or feel like you owe me an answer or anything like that!" She shakes her head laughing lightly going back for another drink.

"No I just.. I need a minute to process this information." I chuckle awkwardly, "I'm sorry"

"It's ok, we have been drinking quite a bit" She chuckles then immediately silence falls between us. "I'm going to do some cleaning up so you can think about it." She smiles softly and grabs the empty beer bottles taking them to the kitchen.

I grab my beer bottle and begin gulping it down while thinking to myself. "She really has feelings for me? I mean.. she is sweet... and pretty... funny. I always have a good time when we hang out. I..." I can barely think straight and the fact that I'm drunk is not helping. I get up setting the beer back on the coffee table then walk into the kitchen. Liv turns around and smiles slightly startled by my sudden appearance in the kitchen. "I need to do something." Before she can answer I cup her cheeks in my hands and kiss her softly. She wraps her arms around me pulling me closer as we continue kissing. "I think I have feelings for you too.." I whisper making her smile. I pull her closer pressing my lips back onto hers, deepening the kiss. My mind is running all over the place as I drunkenly and passionately kiss her in her kitchen. All I know is I'm enjoying this moment, being here right now.
