Chapter 13

It's been another week since me and Scarlett made up which makes me happy. We've hung out a few times since but I've mostly been working and then going to see Liv. After my shift today I decide to go visit with Liv again since Scarlett is working on set right now. I arrive at Livs apartment and knock on the door. I wait a few moments but there's no answer so I knock again. But there's still no answer so I text her and wait but to no avail. So I try the doorknob, slightly worried somethings wrong. The doors unlocked so I open the door peaking inside. "Liv?" I query looking around. Then I hear her voice coming from her bedroom. I decide to walk in, shutting the door behind me and walk towards her bedroom.

As I approach I can kinda hear what she's saying, "Don't worry it won't be much longer.... Just be patient, I told you this will work." I get closer getting confused on what she's talking about. "Yea, I'll see you later. I love you. Bye" Liv hangs up and looks over at her door seeing me about to knock on her bedroom door to make myself known. "Oh babe! I didn't hear you come in!" She stands up visibly nervous as she walks up to me.

"Hey, is everything ok? I was confused you weren't answer so I came in. I'm sorry if I'm intruding" I chuckle awkwardly as she pulls me into a hug.

"No it's ok! How uh, how long have you been standing there?" She pulls back looking at me nervously.

"Not long.. all I heard was you said love you and bye to someone on the phone." I chuckle, leaving out the first part I had heard.

"Ah that! That was.. my mom! She was calling about something. It's not important. But I'm glad you're here again!" She all of a sudden becomes excited and hugs onto me tightly starting to kiss me.

"Oh. Alright. Sorry for overhearing your conversation a bit." I smile hugging her back feeling slightly weird about this interaction.

"It's ok babe!" She grabs onto my face smashing her lips onto mine taking me by surprise. "How was your day at work?"

"It was fine, uneventful honestly. How about your day?" I query smiling while keeping my arms wrapped around her waist.

"It was good! But I have to tell you I can't hangout today I'm sorry! I have plans." Liv frowns resting her arms around my neck.

"It's ok, I'm glad I got to see you even if it was for a few minutes." I smile kissing her softly pulling her closer to me. "You want me to stay while you get ready? Get a few extra minutes of time together" I chuckle lightly as she smiles.

"Sure I'd like that" She kisses my cheek then grabs my wrist bringing me into the bathroom. I watch quietly as she begins brushing her hair. My mind wonders about what that phone call was about. I think my face must've changed because Liv suddenly grabs my face. "What's wrong?"

"Oh uh.. nothing. My mind is just wondering." I crack a half smile as she scans my face.

"You know what? I have to shower." She states and begins taking off her clothes. "Why don't you join me? You know.. extra time together?" She says with a smirk as she drops her bra to the floor.

My eyes widen and I feel my cheeks begin burning. "How can I turn down an offer like that from my beautiful girlfriend?"

She smirks grabbing hold of my pants and beginning to unbutton them. "Then let's get you out of these clothes and in the shower." She kisses me slowly before pulling my pants down then taking her own underwear off. Then she hops in the shower turning the water on biting her bottom lip. I quickly take off the rest of my clothes and follow her into the shower, crashing my lips passionately onto hers.

Awhile later, we are now dry and dressed ready to go. I walk out of the apartment building holding Livs hand as I walk her to her car. Once we get there she turns around pulling me into a passionate kiss. "I'll see you tomorrow. Then we can go on a date ourselves." She whispers against my lips.

"I'd love that, I can't wait babe" I smile kissing her again holding onto her waist. "I'll see you tomorrow. Have fun with your plans"

"Thanks baby! I'll see you later" She kisses me again before climbing into her car.

I give her a small wave goodbye then walked off to my own car. When I get in my car I decide to call Talia and ask if she wants to hangout since it's been awhile. She agrees so I quickly turn on my car and drive off to her house. When I arrive she immediately hugs me and brings me inside her house. "I'm glad you finally detached yourself from your girlfriend to hangout with me." Talia laughs as we walk into the living room.

"I'm not attached to her hip all the time." I roll my eyes taking a seat on her couch.

"Lies" She says sitting down next to me rolling her eyes back at me. "You must really like this girl. I've never seen you this attached to someone you were dating before."

"Yea.. I didn't think I'd have such strong feelings for her. I thought I was going to be hung up on Scar..." I sigh, knowing fully well I still have feelings for Scarlett but I can't think about them.

"Oh is someone in love?" She hums wiggling her eyebrows at me as I look back up at her.

"Whoa I.. I wouldn't say that. It's only been a few weeks!" I shake my head moving away from her a bit. She smirks, giving me a I don't believe you look as i awkwardly scoot away. "Shut up."

"I didn't say anything. I'm glad you're happy though. You know you've always been like a sister to me so it makes me happy that you're happy." She scoots over wrapping her arm around my shoulders.

"I know, you're like a sister to me too. I'm glad you're happy with your new boyfriend too. Which by the way, I'd like to meet at some point!" I push her away making us both laugh.

"Soon I promise! He's a little nervous to meet you and even my family." She chuckles leaning back on the couch. I lean back and we begin talking about her boyfriend before eating and hanging out the rest of the night.
