To Sufiyan

He was in his sumptuous room, on a call with Bashar as excitement pervaded his body to anticipate the upcoming tribulation.

"Why did you let her go alone? You knew she would do this, yet?" Bashar asked.

It was obvious to never place faith in Zariah yet Sufiyan did it.

"That is exactly why I let her go there alone." He hummed in response, a smirk adorning his features.

"I don't understand."

"We all know, those who go in his debt earn a mortifying outcome." He said, smirk growing atrocious.

"Think, Bashar, if Zariah successfully made a deal with Sebastian, the doom of it would be worthwhile."

"But, we cannot lose Zariah. If we do, we will lose Italy." Bashar reminded him but the thrill has suffused his mind.

"At this point, I am indulging immensely in it. I honestly don't care."

He let out a suppressed laugh, walking to the balcony to look out.

"Although, Nathaniel might not survive." He added, Scoffing at his own words.

"What?"

Bashar asked, worried for his Boss at this point. He was losing his track by joy of one's misery.

"I want to see will Nathaniel be able to save his beloved..."

He began to say, resting his hand in the railing, licking his lips.

"Or she will be thrown into his slavery?"

"And look, he broke his circle of depression instantly for her sake. Not moving an inch for two months and one danger on her head and he ran there to save her." He snickered, tightening his grip, the sound converting into a growl.

He was elated for their outcome, deep down not wanting it to be separation. He knew how painful it could be.

"Don't tell me-" Bashar trailed off in disbelief, mouth gaping.

"Yes. She doesn't know what all the aces do. He is another ruler in her perspective. Having no idea that man almost killed his own brother." He chuckled darkly.

He knew Zariah would do this by her ignorance about his true nature.

And what he anticipated occurred, saving Nathaniel and Sebastian to have a war from a brink.

"I should have known you must be plotting something." Bashar sighed, shaking his head.

Bashar considered it his fault to think Sufiyan is truly sticking to one purpose.

"Exactly, If Nathaniel stopped her she will think he is degrading her and resent him eternally." He said nonchalantly.

He predicted the future precisely, aware of what could happen yet let it happen.

"And what about Nathaniel?" Bashar asked, knowing his zeal for her.

"When I visited, I saw some fresh cuts on his wrist that he tried to hide." He sighed, pressing his palm on the scar on his chest.

Seeing Nathaniel depressed state, his misery; it drowned him in nostalgia.

"What a soft-hearted person. Pathetic." Bashar chuckled, mocking Nathaniel's state.

Sufiyan was not like Nathaniel.

But Bashar didn't realize how badly it could affect the underworld if any Ace died.
