In The Making
Paris, France- 10:25 a.m.
JuneIt's crazy how one's life can change in a blink of an eye.
One minute, you'd be at the biggest party of the year and enjoying your time with friends.. but then you're being escorted into a private Jet in the middle of the night.
To leave the country.
That's what happened to me a month ago, couple days after Kevaun got locked up— and now, I am living in a mansion in Paris.
A total different place from Jamaica— no voilence, well at least not where I now stay.
To say the least, the few months I've been here has been weird.
I guess that's the best way I can describe it.
Living in a country different from the one you are a legal citizen of, is not as easy as some may think it is.
..and seeing that I am not really familiar with Paris, I mostly stay in the house and I just can't leave until I know every inch of my surroundings.
Not my choice, but "orders from the boss".. and you already know who that is.
Minus the part that it is over populated, Paris is a beautiful country.
Where I stay is comfortable and quiet but as much as I love the peace, I miss being in Jamaica.
Hearing all sorts of random music, down to even the noise that the men makes while debating politics.. all day.
Or the banging of dominos on tables at the bars.
but I know this is not a permanent stay.
Just until Kevaun is released and the community and people is back to how it used to be— undercontrol.
If it was up to me, I would have never left Jamaica but Kevaun made it clear from the jump that I had no choice.
Besides, the safety of my baby and I comes first so a part of me knew that I had to leave, especially with him not being there.
And I'd prefer be here than being locked in a empty house surrounded by securities, just because it's too dangerous to be outside.
Jamaica in general hasn't been safe, not to mention Spanish Town.
The voilence in the community definitely has raised.
spain town been neva safe from the jump but now, like it get worse.
True, and the "new don" who has brought nothing but chaos to the community, is not making it any better.
I doubt babe even knows about what's happening but I've realized that even in prison, he still has power; both on the inside and outside.
