Gloom.
The smell of strong perfume tingles my nostrils and I slowly start to open my eyes, to see my fiancé seated on the couch as he ties the lace of his new brown clarks.
Fiancé.. I don't think I'll ever get tired of calling him that.
With a bright smile on my face, I look down on the diamond on my finger.Remembering the video I snapped, I quickly send it to Lila before placing my phone back on the stand.
This all still feels surreal, but in a very good way.
He proposed to me.I'm now gonna be a soon-to-be mother and wife, to the man who captured my heart and put it back to pieces with a simple glance.
Not in years did I think Kevaun was gonna propose, even though he joked about it several times.
I didn't think he was being forreal.
Like, he's a man who did not believe in love and lost all the faith he had thinking he'd find anything even close.
But did he- and asked me to be his wife and once again, made me joyful and happy.
How will I ever repay him?
"Good morning," I greet, and he lifts his head with a small smile. Pulling his shirt down when he stands, he comes over to me and lifts me off the bed to straddle him.
His cold hand comes in contact with my thighs and I sigh with my eyes now closed.
With only just a touch.
"Good morning, fiancée."
Faints. literally! "How was your sleep?" He questions, slightly rubbing my back at a slow pace.
That feels good.
Releases the pain that I've been feeling lately."It was good. I haven't slept so good in a long time." I reply, he hums.
Deciding to not ask where he's going, I stay on his lap and run my fingers on his cornrows that I did.
He finally llifts his head after a while and meets my stare.
His eyes hold many emotions and the feeling of thinking something bad happened, washes over me.
