Revelation

12th.3.2025

Months quickly came and passed by, and close have they gotten in finding their child.
Still, the reason is not being told but the parents won't rest until something is taken place.

Even though there's a slight feeling of doubt in their hearts.
Over the pass few months have been deaths, mishaps and injuries, however the causes are becoming to seem of a waste considering the fact that there's still no sign of Kiehlani.

Detectives are now currently drawn in the mess, as it is now months since the kidnapping happened. A private investigation is being held and to say the least, progress is finally seen.
Everyone has placed a helping hand in finding the baby and even posters are around the community and all'bout.

It all seems a little too extra to some in their opinion, but in Celest's and Kevaun's point of view, it'll be helpful. Besides, most of the negative comments are from people who do not have a child.

Also, a wide variety of close friends, family and associates are there as a supporter and having a shoulder to lean on is definitely needed for the parents.
Hope is still there, yet there are countless what if's.

"Why yuh still up, mama?" Kevaun's voice startles me a little and I sigh.
Sitting in the dark has started to become a routine for me, so has not sleeping. I don't think anything will be as it was without my child being here.

"I can't sleep... just go back and rest because I can tell you are very tired." I speak, hoping that'd get him to not start up a conversation.. because a conversation will eventually switch to an argument.

..and I am definitely not in the mood to argue. I just want to relax with silence surrounding me.
That's what I've been wanting for the pass few months.

"Yuh know mi cyaa sleep without yuh in a the bed, pretty."

Hissing my teeth, I leave the room and head downstairs. He just had to intervene and ruin my peace; he ruins everything.
My breathing is ragged as I full a cup of water, the pills starting to become a slimy substance because of my grip.

remember you're sick, Celest.. calm down.

"Ba- Celest." Looking around in the dark, I try to see where his voice is coming from but I fail, miserably. Again he speaks; voice low and deep, it sends a familiar shiver down my spine.

I bring my focus back to the cup of water and I turn off the pipe when I see it's overflowing. I wet my lips, taking a sip and washing the pills down.
A bitter taste rests on my tongue and I can't help but screw up my face.

A one ting, dem pill yah taste bad.

But dem seh anything weh taste good nor smell good when yuh sick nuh good fi yuh, so I guess that means something.
