Down Bad.

"..cyaa believe this. And now this is crazy all together 'cause I just met one of my cousins I had no idea about, in the worst way possible."

Why Celest nuh shut up?

I am trying to relax, clear my head as I drive but she keeps talking.. and e wul eep a noise a upset mi.

Releasing a deep sigh, I grip the stirring wheel to consentrate on the road but is being stopped by the police.

Just my bloodclaatt luck.

Finally, she's quiet when she notices the police and that I'm pulling over at the side of the road.

Keeping my hand on her thigh, I take my glock from off the dashboard and fix it in my waist.

There's a tap on the window, which startles Celest seeing she was too focused on what I was doing.

I hiss then whine it down, coming face to face with an officer.

"Goodnight, sir. Are you aware that you were driving high above the speed limit?.."

-oh. 'Cause a neva me a drive suh mi wouldn't know seh mi neva did a drive 'high above' the speed limit, right?

"No, I was not.. if a really fuckery uno stop mi fah, mek mi just liff up 'cause mi have places fi deh."

The woman officer who stands behind him widens her eyes in shock and I hiss lowly.

Mussi feel dem slick.
Everyday dem do the same fuckery, just for money.

We use to this by now.

"Sir, I'd ask you to please step out of the car."

I look over at Celest and she rolls her eyes and turns her head to look out the window.
"He doesn't need to.. just let us take what we want and let them leave."

Another officer speaks.

"Anything for a little change, I see." Celest mumbles and I chuckle, taking the 40g's from my wallet and handing it to officer before he could ask.

That's more than enough for three of them.

I drive off, making sure to leave dirt behind. Again, Celest begins to curse- now about how I just wasted money on something unnecessary.

She ago always complain.

"Yah come in the tiktok with me babe?" Once more, she asks and my answer is a no.. again.

She hisses then disappears around a corner to do her tiktok.
I lean back in my chair and remove the spliff from behind my ears.

Silence, cool breeze and my spliff is all I need right now. I have too much on my mind and I need a release.
