I felt nothing unusual at first only a light touch of the old man hands on the his back.

After couple minutes of waiting. I started to shiver the touch of the hands felt cold. At the same time the air felt like it has changed, and his breath was cold.

It was startling but I was not frightened at all. I was now filled with energy and I breathed again.

Now too he could feel cold air swirling around, it blowed against my hands, sides and back.

The touch of the old man seemed to disappeared. Their was a new sensation: pinpricks? No they were soft without pain.

Tiny cold feather like feelings peppered his body and face. It made me smile

One part of my consciousness knew that I was still lying down but separate part of me believed it. Instead of sitting in a chair I was instead standing.

I could see a bright, whirling torrent of crystals in the air, I could physically see my breath.

The ground was thick with the furry snow, but I saw slightly above it a hard, flat object. Sled! The old man talked about it earlier.

As I walked over towards I decided to sit on it as instructed, soon it started to move going downhill.

Comprehending all of those things as it sped downward, then as the angle of incline lessened as the hill flattened. The sled stopped in it tracks

Finally I opened my eyes and was sitting in the chair, still feeling breathless.

The man looked at me asking how was I. It was so fast pace but I couldn't help but feel excitement

The old man chuckled. Now he had time to process things he wondered why they didn't have snow?

He sighed "climate control, snow made growing food difficult, limited the agricultural periods. And unpredictable weather made transportation almost impossible. It wasn't a practical thing, so it became obsolete when we went to sameness"

I couldn't help but wish we had those things.
