17. Stay bad, behave good

The kitchen was filled in black smoke.

With the fire extinguisher I could kill the flames myself. But as I spotted one of the minions with a phone in his hand I panicked, "What are you doing?!"

"Gru?"

"No, no, no calling Gru!" I snatched the device off him, "I can deal with this!"

If he comes back too soon, Brad won't have the chance to sneak in. Speaking of him, where is he?

He was there alright!

With his Walkman and headphones, he danced up the stairs and checked every room with awkward moves. He finds Gru's taste horrible, especially his bed. If he could, he would leave a present for this ex-villain. Unfortunately, I strictly told him not to do such a thing! He sighted, turned the tapes around and continued his search down the stairs. From the corridor, he could see the last room at the back, releasing smoke, not only that...the minions are in the way too. So how can he get passed them?

"You banana obsessed idiots!!!" He heard me yell from the room. In a matter of seconds, the situation was cleared. Brat saw me come out with a fire extinguisher, barking at the little men. He was sure that I noticed him at the stairs, as I told them to go into the living room and to stay there.

Slowly, I went over to my henchmen, handing him a pair of goggles, "these are X-ray goggles, find his lab."

"What about these...things?"

"Let that be my problem. Make sure that no one sees you."

In the living room, they were arguing over the remote control. I sighted at them, taking it and place it on the highest shelf I could find. The minions moaned like kids as I turned back to them with my hands on my hips, "No TV for you today...I have to pick up the girls...will you help me?"

"YAY!!!!"

I wasn't sure if I should be happy or concerned of their motivation to help me out. They got Gru's huge rocket-like car out of the garage and yelled at me to come over. I thought the villain wheels were fun, but this...was even better! On my way, I crashed several cars, street signs and caused trouble in traffic. Down in the vehicle were the minions, giving my damages scores. I had to admit...they can be good...when you act evil.

Muahahaha!!!!

The girls were already at the gates, waiting for their babysitter to pick them up.

"Where is she?" demanded Margo, looking at her Smartphone. "Probably on her way", guessed Edith using her ninja skills on a pigeon. Agnes could hear the sound of horns, as Gru's car came into sight, "There she is!"

With one turn, I parked right before them, "Come aboard on the fun ride!"

Edith and Agnes were thrilled, unlike Margo. She asked me of why I took Gru's car instead of Lucy's. I pointed at the minions, "I needed enough space for my friends." "Why is there an electric mast on the car?" I wasn't sure of what she meant first, before turning my back, "oh that...I let Kevin drive a few miles...he must have hit it then." "And you didn't see it?" "I...played poker with the other guys, right?"

"YAY!!!!!!" I am starting to love these little idiots!

"Let us go home" said Margo, not feeling in a good mood.

"Are you hungry?" I asked.

"Yes, did you cook anything?"

"I did but...I think my cooking skills are lacking. I treat you all to a nice burger, how does that sound?"

Edith and Agnes were dancing with the minions, screaming 'burger' the whole time. I nudged Margo playfully, "Burger~?" She sighted, "Okay...why not?"

I smiled wide and yelled "Everybody, let's eat!"

"YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
