35. Idiot

What I didn't expect to receive was a big welcome at my enemy's home. Two minions stood before me, in their little maid outfits. Before I could greet them, they hugged my legs tight. It got worse; they recognized me immediately, without the voice. Dru smiled at this, "See, you aren't that bad." I gave him one hell of a deadly glare, "One more word out of you and you will get buried alive." Other minions took this as a serious matter, getting the shovels. Dru swallowed hard, hoping that I won't do such a thing. Even so, he followed me towards the lab. The minions lead me downstairs, while thousands of minions cheered for my arrival. The blonde noticed my confused face, "They think that you do something evil."

"How do they know that?"

He pointed at my suit, "They feel it...and see you in that outfit." That reminded him of something, "Although, it looks familiar...wait here." Raising a brow, I watched him going through a giant box, pulling out a white outfit. Indeed, it does look like mine...but only a little. The next one he got out was in black, "Hihihi, like we are meant to be villain partners."
"Have you lost it?!!!" I couldn't hold myself. Memories of the past flooded my mind and all, because of his words. It is what he said...that...man, "This isn't a child's play, there are people on the line and we will never be partners...ever!!!!"

"But, you said you trust me."

"Because I have no choice, I believe you for now. Once this is all over, I go back to my previous plan."

His blue eyes sparkled, "Plan? You have a plan! Tell me what it is...please!!!" Oh yeah, it is easy to tell: I am going to take revenge on the entire Gru family, destroying them to the very core. Of course I didn't tell that, "...we got better things to do. Give me that!" Since he had the suit in his hand, I got curious. Taking it off him, I inspected the fabric, the tools; absolutely everything...was like mine..." here!" I threw it back at him, hitting his face. So they had as much chances to beat me with the same weapons, so I wasn't his favorite after all.

Leaving the thought aside, I went over to his PC. Attaching a stick to his device, I went through several programs. All around me and Dru, were big round eyes, saying 'Uh' and 'Ah ', every time I pressed Enter. This really got on my nerves, "Don't you have any work to do?!" They all shook their head at the same time. "Do you need a job?" A nod replied, "Go and find Gru!" Only a handful left. This job was not enough for all of them. I sighted loud, "Just go upstairs and do something productive!" They finally understood, at least I hoped they do. Now I had the silence and piece to concentrate on my work.
"Sooo, what are you doing there N/A?"

...or so I thought...

"Don't you have anyone else to bother just now? And it is Shadow."
"I am just trying to understand your procedure."

I have no time to argue or to pick a fight, "The one captured is a friend of mine. I can track down his phone with this program, but to do so, I need some space to concentrate."

Dru finally understand, leaving me alone. But this was only temporary, because he returned ten minutes later, shouting about someone coming down the lab. Removing the stick, I took one of the minion's golf clubs and waited for this intruder to appear. Dru took something a little more...unusual. For me, this was just weird, "A rubbish lid, are you serious?"

"There is nothing else here", despite another pair of golf clubs but no, he had to pick this metal piece or defense. And it sure did its purpose, although, not as defense. The moment the intruder came into sight, Dru slammed it against its face. Pleased by his strength, he inspected the person...and went tense. "Oh no..."
"Who is it?" I asked curious, not seeing him from my view. I had to move beside Dru and reacted the same way, "How could you beat up your own brother?!"

"I didn't expect it to be him!"

"Oh yeah, he doesn't own this place and, oh wait, he doesn't own this lab either, right?"

Gru was out cold, not a single sound left him. Dru panicked, "I killed him!"

"No you didn't, he is still breathing...pity." The blond stared at me in disbelieve, while I just turned on my heels and back to the PC, "Take care of your bother, we need him soon."
"How should I do that?" In Dru's voice you could hear that he is worried. All I could do was facing the screen in utter boredom, "Don't know...slowly?"

A few hours passed and this idiot was making me crazy already. I heard something pulled on the floor, while a bumping sound followed. Curious as I was, I turned around and...looked amazed. Dru pulled his brother by his feet, down the stairs, while Gru's head dropped from one step on to the next. He sure got a massive headache soon. With a smile, my chair was turned back to the PC, "He might be useful after all. Who would have thought, that he has the skill to torment his own brother and all this in front of his enemy. Life is good."
