inspired by DND Earth by Smaugthedm, this is my take on it. It incorporates the lore of many different franchises into 1 universe and is set on an alternate version of Earth.

Background: Originally ran by Gozaburo Kaiba as a weapons company,it later came under the command of his adopted son,Seto. It now focuses on creating gaming equipment, including Their ever popular Duel Disks. They even collaborated with Industrial illusions to expand upon the card game "Duel Monsters" resulting in the creation of Synchro monsters and XYZ monsters.

Duelist: You have access to cards of the Blue Eyes and Eyes of Blue Archetype,along with Obelisk the tormentor to use in your deck.
Duel Spirit Communicator: Because of Seto's obsession with the duel spirit world and with settling the score with pharaoh Atem,he has contracted people who are spiritually connected to communicate with duel spirits. You have a duel spirit of your choice as a companion, instead of fighting, they give you moral support which gives you +3 damage once per campaign. If you have the same card as the monster on the field during a duel, they gain 500 attack and defense points.
Duel Academy Teacher: Your time working as a teacher on Duel Academy island has given you a good pay,knowledge on Duel Spirits,and skills at drawing eggwhiches. You gain +1 luck,+1 Charisma, and a 1/3 bonus to your starting currency.
Sponsored Card Shop owner: Because of your sponsorship from Kaiba corp, you have access to Synchro monsters,along with XYZ monsters,and a x2 in your starting currency.
Card producer: You are capable of crafting any cards for your deck, including The Blue Eyes and Eyes of Blue Archetype,and Obelisk the tormentor. But, if you use your counterfeit Obelisk in a duel, you flip a coin every turn it's on the field, if tails, you automatically lose the duel and your HP gets depleted to 0.
