"Stop, we can't do any more than this."

Kenny takes his hand back. "Okay."

Leo gets confused. "You actually stopped..."

"Why wouldn't I? That's what you're supposed to do when someone tells you to stop."

"Bradley always called me dramatic when I would tell him to stop..."

"Bradley? Is that your ex boyfriend?"

"Yeah..."

"I don't like this guy. From what I've heard, he sounds super manipulative."

"..."

"Bad memories?"

"Yeah..."

Kenny grabs hold of Leo's hand and interlocks their fingers. "Sorry, I won't bring it up again. Are you tired?"

"A bit. The movie is almost over so I'll lay down after that."

"I'll do the same."

Leo blushes as they hold hands under the blanket. He can't focus on the movie, he was focused on trying to breathe normally.

Leo closes his eyes to try and concentrate, but he falls asleep.

"Buttercup? Wake up."

Leo opens his eyes, he's in his boyfriends room.

"Good morning, Bradley..."

"Morning. Are you ready to go out? We should go exploring in town today."

"Sorry... my parents say that I have to be home by 11 today or else I'll be grounded."

"Why are you always getting grounded? You never make time for me..."

"I did make time for you... I stayed over last night since you wanted to..."

"What if I want more? You need to consider my feelings more."

"Right... I'm sorry..."

"If you're sorry then start sneaking out to see me. Even if you're grounded."

"But my parents..."

"I thought you loved me."

"I- I do! I promise..."

"Then prove it."

"... okay..."

"Good. I knew you'd come around, you're good like that."

Leo goes home for the day. He sits in his room and cries. He had no control over his life, and everything was falling apart.

He gets out his phone. "I can't keep living like this..."

Leo texts his boyfriend.

Leo: Hey...

Bradley: hey, you're coming out tonight right? You aren't going to break your promise, are you?

Leo: Bradley... I can't keep living like this. I can't be there for you as much as you want me to... maybe I'm not the right person to be your boyfriend...

Bradley: are you trying to break up with me?

Leo: kinda...

Bradley: I need you. You need me. I can't live without you.

Leo: I know you can. You're stronger than you think.

Bradley: you're my only support system, you can't leave me.

Leo: I'm sorry...

Bradley: I guess I warned you. Goodbye forever. I'll be under the old bridge.

Leo: what?

Leo: Bradley?

Leo: hello???

Leo starts to panic, he calls Bradley but he doesn't answer.

"Shit!" He grabs his coat and goes outside. He looks up where the old bridge is and begins to sprint.

He reaches the bridge, gasping for air. Bradley is standing on the wrong side of the rail.

"BRADLEY!!!"

"Ah... I knew you'd come. You want to take me back, don't you?"

"Bradley... come to me... get away from the rail..."

"Agree to take me back and I will."

"Bradley, you need to accept this! You'll find someone else! I'm not the only option."

Bradley scowls. "This is all your fault. You did this to me."

"Bradley! Please!"

"Remember this. Remember what you did."

Bradley let's go of the rail and plummets.

"NO!!!" Leo runs to the edge and leans over it. He sees Bradley's body hit a large rock in the shallow rapids. His body distorted, blood everywhere.
