Bunny - Battle of the bands

Chapter 13

On Monday the results of the concert are announced. Moop won their battle and got moved up to the next battle. So did TCTC. Their semi-final battle would be against the band that Stans girlfriend was in.

"Nice! We got another win!" Kenny says to his group at lunch.

"Thanks to you dude. I messed up that bass bit but you totally pulled through it." Stan says.

"We all are doing really well."

Cartman smiles at the group. "We should all hang out on Friday and celebrate. We don't have a performance this week."

Stan, Kyle, and Kenny all trade looks with eachother.

"Sorry dude, I'm busy."

"I am too."

"Same here."

Cartman frowns, "All three of you are busy? Cmon, don't leave me to hang out with Butters."

Leo puts his hands under the table. "Actually, I also have plans already."

"Whatever. I guess we can just celebrate after we win."

Eric leaves and Kenny sighs. "He almost caught us."

Leo looks up at Kenny, confused. "Was he not invited?"

"Of course he wasn't. He practically bullies you. Don't you want your party to be fun? I mean, I can invite him if you really want."

"No, it's okay... it just feels kinda mean."

"He deserves it."

After school on Friday, Kenny drives Leo to his house. They both go inside.

Leo starts pacing around, picking at his fingernails.

Kenny sits on the couch and watches. "What are you so nervous about?"

"What if no one comes? What if they hate my house? What if... UGH!" Leo runs his hands through his hair.

"Everything is going to be fine, just sit down. Try to relax. Enjoy your birthday."

"...okay."

Leo felt like he only sat down for a second, but before he knew it he was surrounded by people from his class. Everyone was wishing him a happy birthday.

Leo was overwhelmed. He never had to talk to this many people at once before.

Kenny noticed this. "Hey, guys. Let's play a game, yeah?"

This proposition gets the attention off of Leo, giving him room to breathe.

Leo smiles at Kenny and mouths the words "thank you" to him.

One of the girls pulls out a glass bottle she had in her bag. "Spin the bottle / seven minutes in heaven anyone?"

Everyone looks at Kenny.

"I guess I'll play."

After he says that, 10 girls also join in.

Kenny pulls Leo into the circle. He sits right next to him. "Cant leave out the birthday boy."

The girl who pulled out the bottle hands it to Leo. "You can go first, since it's your birthday and all."

He takes the bottle. "I know what spin the bottle is, but what is seven minutes in heaven?"

Kenny puts an arm around Leo. "You don't know? Basically you get locked in the closet with whoever the bottle lands on for 7 minutes. You have to kiss but other than that you get to spend those 7 minutes doing whatever you and the other person want to do."

"Huh... so you could hypothetically just sit there for 7 minutes?"

"Yeah. You could."

"Okay. I'll go first then."
