Chapter 34

*GASP*

Leo gasps for air and sits up, clutching his chest.

He looks around to see he's in Stan's living room. Kenny is asleep next to him.

Leo remembers the dream he had. The picture of Bradley's dead body kept playing through his head.

He runs to the bathroom and vomits from the stress and disgust of the scene.

He starts coughing, his eyes fill with tears.

"Leo?!"

Kenny is in the doorway to the bathroom, he had just woken up. "Dude! Are you okay?? Let me get you some water."

Kenny comes back with a glass of water and a towel. He hands them to Leo.

Leo cleans off his face and drinks the water.

He can't regain his breathing.

Kenny watches as Leo loses his composure, he breathes erratically and holds his head in his hands.

"...Leo? Hey... what's going on..?"

Leo starts to sob. Kenny wraps his arms around him. "You're okay! You're fine, it's okay..."

Leo cries into Kenny's tee shirt.

The other boys hear the sobbing. They gather in the doorway.

"What's going on?"

Kenny shrugs. "I don't know. He might be sick. You guys should go, he probably doesn't want everyone watching him cry. I'll take care of this."

"Okay dude. Let us know if you need anything."

"Will do."

They shut the door. Leo continues to cry into Kenny's chest. Kenny gently rubs Leo's back. "Hey man... what's going on?"

Leo catches his breath. "Sorry... I had a nightmare..."

"Must've been pretty bad to make you have this reaction."

"Yeah... I used to get them all the time. It's this dream about something that happened a while back. PTSD dream. The doctor calls it night terrors."

"Shit... what happened?"

"Someone I knew died in front of me..."

"I see... sorry, that must be really difficult."

Leo wipes his tears. "Thank you. I'm feeling better now."

"Good. Do you want to go home now? I can drive."

"I'd appreciate that."

Kenny and Leo go home, leaving the other three.

Stan sighs. "Poor Butters dude..."

Kyle nods. "Yeah, he looked awful, I hope he's okay."

"He should be. Kenny is taking care of him."

Cartman scoffs, "Are you two blind?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean it's obvious they're dating. They were hugging in the bathroom earlier."

"Cause Butters was crying. What was Kenny supposed to do? Just watch?"

"He didn't have to get all handsy with him, I am telling you guys, they're definitely together. Butters turned Kenny into a homo."

Stan rolls his eyes. "Dude I think you might be more worried about this than they are."

Kyle laughs. "Maybe he's jealous. Hey, Cartman, if you like one of them you can tell us. We won't judge."

"I don't like guys!"

"Yet you're strangely obsessed with them. Weird."

"Shut up, Jew."

"Fatass."
