CHAPTER 4 PART 2 A VISIT BY THE ALPHA KING

MICHAEL'S POV

What have I done? Why is the Alpha King and his son treating me like this. I mean the King has been more like an extra grandfather to me and well his son is my mentor. I really don't know why I am traveling with them and at the moment they aren't talking. Bill, my mentor, just looked at me with both disappointment and sad eyes. I mean with everything that is already going on in my life with Maria I really don't need this. Whatever it this is? Bill has given me that look that says Don't speak until spoken to! I have seen that look before but it has been years, like when I was in my early years of training.

I really need to ask him how my vision shows her as a pure white wolf and well she is still human. I need to figure out what I need to ask them. They don't answer too many questions about themselves and their heritage. If I am not specific I will not get my answers. Obviously I haven't been asking the right questions or I would have found Maria.

I have been so wrapped up trying to figure out what I need to ask them and why I am going to the palace that I didn't even realize we had landed. We were traveling in a special aircraft built just for the royal family. We called it a helojet because it is a cross between a helicopter and a jet. It looks like an extra large helicopter but it is faster than most jets and it has high grade technology. Once airborne it has stealth settings and high military grade weapons.

No one other than the royal family actually knows where the palace is because of something that happen even before my parents were born. Even the royal pilots are the grandchildren of the Alpha King. Whatever happened was really bad because they moved the palace. There are all kind of rumors about what happened but no one really knows. I'm not even sure if most of the royal family knows what happen. It is probably the most well guarded secret in the world and that is saying something because the location of the palace itself is not even known.

After arriving at the palace we leave the landing pad, which actually retracts into the castle grounds, going through the underground tunnels to the main castle itself. I quietly follow The High Alpha King and his son. I notice that I am surrounded now by the royal guard and I have no idea why. As we enter the private chambers I see Bill stop and wait for me.

"Michael are you alright? You look very pale now," my mentor said. He still was looking at me with sad eyes. I just don't understand but I also know that until he is ready to tell me what I have done I will not be able to get it out of him.

"Bill, I can only assume that I have done something wrong or I haven't done something I should have but in all honesty I don't have a clue as to what?"

"I know but as much as I would like to tell you what is going on I can't. Just know that you have always been considered family here and that is even more so now. Father has always loved you and well you are my god son. Everything will work out. Your love and faithfulness have never been in question. On the other hand, your stubbornness has always been your downfall." Bill tells me.

"Bill, I know I am stubborn but I would never do anything against you nor your Father." Now I am really getting scared because disrespecting the Alpha High King is treason and carries a death sentence.

"Calm down Michael. You haven't done anything against me nor my Father. However, your stubbornness has caused some problems that you do not know about. Truth is with the little information you had I can understand how it happened. Do I like it? NO! But at least I understand it and so does Dad. Doesn't mean we like it any better, but we do understand."
