Chapter 32: Dragon Fighting Team Up

We all make it to where the dragon roar had come from and low and behold, there is a yellow and blue dragon in front of us. We all look at it a bit trying to figure out what to do.
"How do we defeat this thing?" I asked harshly and impatiently.
Before Nix, Brandon, Kit and I could react, Allumos is already jumping at the dragon and trying to attack it.
He barely was able to get a hit in and got flung into the wall.
"What was that for sticking close to a team?" Nix asked with a amused look on his face.
"How does it feel being slammed through a window, Allumos?" Kit laughs sassily.
Allumos looks at Kit annoyed.
"Oh shut up, you!" He snapped at her. I snort in amusement.
"Hey you two! There's no time for the two of you to be fighting." Brandon explains sternly.
"She fricken started it!" Allumos complains to Brandon.
Nix then decides to speak up.
"Actually I think you started it like a week ago." Nix explains to Allumos.
"Enough!" I snapped out. Everyone freezes and looks at me. Brandon looks grateful.
"Thank you, Bryan. Get back here and get into fighting position. Either we work as a team, or we're going to die. Your choice." Brandon tells us.
We do as he says and I stand to Nix's left.
"So how do we do this?" I asked everyone.
"I'm not exactly sure...." Allumos starts before he starts rambling in a freaking out tone.
"Uh what's he doing?" Nix asked confused.
"He's been going on about this ever since the council meeting. Allumos get your head on straight. We don't have time for this." Brandon says slightly annoyed.
I then walk out of my spot and go in front of Allumos while facing him.
"Listen up, Allumos!" I say before I slap him.
"Oh crap." Brandon simply says in shock.
"Ohh, nice one, Bryan." Nix compliments me in an amused voice tone.
"Snap out of this stupid shell you are in and begin to man up!" I snap angrily at him.
"What?" Allumos pauses in his shock.
"Acting like this won't get us anywhere!" I explain to him as I feel old feelings starting to come through. One is guilt.
I've hurt my friends...
Before more of those feelings can come through, once again a purple haze comes into my vision but this time I didn't get a headache.
The feelings go away rather quickly.
"So snap out of it or we will die and you won't be able to save any other pathetic people." I finished coldly before I walk back to my previous position.
After a speech Kit gives to Allumos, the feeling of guilt starts hitting me again.
What am I doing? I don't want to do this.. I don't want to hurt people....
Snap out of those emotions, Bryan. They will make you weak.
The purple haze comes back but it's much heavier and harder to see.
I feel the guilt get shoved down and disappear.
SR, you are right. Those emotions will make me weak..
I was too much in my thoughts I didn't realize that Nix was calling my name.
"Bryan! You alright?" He asked me even though he most likely already knew what was happening with me. I look at him.
"I'm fine, Nix." I explained to him before I notice what feels like a single tear on my cheek so I wipe it away. No more of those pathetic and weak emotions.
"You are both right, Kit, Bryan. This shouldn't be who I am. Let's change that." Allumos explains with a smile appearing on his face.
"Uh guys? This was nice and all, but we still have our dragon problem." Nix explains before looking at the dragon.
The dragon roars again.
"Like I said everyone, positions. We need to confuse it.Brandon says. He mentions if Kit has a way to block off the dragons attack that she should use it.
Kit uses her magic to summon a cinder wall.
I hold out my hand and I summon some darkness where the dragon is at so it will get blinded.
Nix summons an arrow storm to hit the dragon with.
"And now it's my turn. No using Jupiter's power, got it?" Brandon explains before he does a spell himself.
"Just as expected, these things are built like castle walls." Allumos mentions.
"So if normal moves won't work on it, then what will?" Kit asked.
"If anyone of you have any tricks up your sleeve now is the time to be using them!" Brandon explains.
I certainly don't yet. I'm still learning spells through the Seductive Rose.
"I have one thing that might help." Nix says before he transforms into his normal form.
We all look at him.
"Well that's useful." Kit explains in shock.
"I knew you smelled funny. Wasn't what I had in mind." Brandon says.
"I might have just though of something but I'm going to need everyone's help on this one. Three to hold it down and Brandon? We're working together on this one." Allumos says. I agree on this plan. I feel a rush of dark energy come out of nowhere.
I look and notice Brandon's eyes squinting as if he was fighting something inside of him.
"Sure." Brandon says.
"Alright everyone. Do as I tell you!" Allumos explains as he flies up.
He insults the dragon and the dragon flies at him.
"We need to bring it back onto the ground." I mention and Brandon nods at me in agreement.
"We don't stand a chance if it's airborne." Brandon explains to us.
"Allumos? Use your dragon claw move again but use your feet instead of your hands. You can stun the dragon into the ground with enough force." He tells Allumos.
"It's worth a shot." Allumos says before doing as Brandon said.
This is definitely fun I must admit.
"See, Allumos! You did it!" Kit praises Allumos and he flies back down.
"It's not over yet. We barely touched the dang thing." I explained annoyed.
"We did more damage to the ground." Brandon says after me.
Nix laughs mischievously.
"I have an idea!" Nix says with a grin on his face.
"Earth tremor." He says and hits the ground and causing it to shake and cause some damage where the dragon is and trapping it.
"Kit, block it in!" Allumos says quickly.
"Got it!" Kit says and summons fire on the dragon.
"Bryan, use your darkness thing again." Allumos then says to me.
I nod.
"Gladly." I simply say with a grin.
I then summon my darkness again.
"Nix, Kit, Bryan? Keep it steady." Allumos continues. I just nod and continue to focus on keeping my darkness up.
"We're going to need time to charge this thing up." He explains.
"Uh okay!" Kit agrees.
"We'll do what we can." Nix explains and I agree with him.
Then all of a sudden, I notice a change in Brandon. A tattoo like thing appears on his left eye, his right eye is now a black and red color, and a sick and twisted grin appears on his face and he attacks Nix and holds him up by his neck.
I'm now confused but also intrigued.
Well well... This just got interesting.
"Pleasure to see you again so soon, Nix. And just in case you attempt another disappearing act." Not Brandon says to Nix as he summons a magic circle.
"Oh, Jupiter! How are you doing?" Nix asks with a shocked tone of voice but a amused smile on his face.
"Oh drop the act while you still can." Jupiter says as his grip on Nix gets tighter.
"Im confused. Who are you?" I asked Jupiter. All I heard is his name just now and that's about it.
Jupiter looks at me and an intrigued expression grows onto his face as soon as his eyes lays on my Seductive Rose sword.
"I'm Jupiter. That is a nice sword. Though the energy I'm feeling from it is quite dark and from what I can tell it's doing something to you. That sword is clearly alive." He explains before shifting his attention back to Nix. I chuckle a bit.
He is clever.
"So it was you I was fighting in the arena earlier?" Allumos asks Jupiter.
"You'd be correct, dragon pest. Now if you excuse us, we have matters to deal with here." Jupiter explains before he turns back to Nix.
"Don't we?" He asks with his grin widening.
"Leave him alone! And give my guild leader his body back!" Kit demands in an annoyed tone.
"I cannot do that right now. Not while this traitor is standing before me." Jupiter says.
Nix laughs amusedly a little.
"What can I say?" He simply says with a grin on his face clearly showing his amusement at this situation.
"Also don't want to break up an old reunion but we have dragons situation currently we must deal with." Allumos explains annoyed. Jupiter looks at Allumos.
"You're a dragon slayer right? Deal with it yourself." He tells him sassily.
"It's not just the dragons. A person. Claims himself the Demon Ki..." Allumos starts before he gets caught off.
"You're joking me right? The Demon King? Does this person have a death wish or something?" Jupiter asks a bit angrily.
"Um might I request you put me down, sir Jupiter? My neck is getting rather stiff from being held in this position." Nix asks as he grabs onto Jupiter's hands.
"Your request is denied. I haven't dealt with you yet. One does not simply leave my allegiance." Jupiter explains to Nix.
"So what I'm hearing is you were part of Devil's Tongue and left because of boredom?" I asked confused but also curiously.
"Maybe we should all calm down and fix the problem we have right in front of us? That dragon!" Kit exclaims pointing at the dragon who roars loudly in anger.
"Man you humans moan a lot. I hate people that complain. Fine! You can deal with this dragon." Jupiter says in annoyance. He drops Nix onto the ground and removes the magic circle.
"I agree on the fact of hating people who complain." I muttered under my breath as I think of the animatronics.
"We're not done, Nix. Don't forget that." Jupiter spats at my Devil friend.
"Might I suggest a solution to deal with that dragon?" Allumos asks.
"What is that solution, Allumos?" I asked impatiently. I want to be done with this situation. I walk over to my friend and help him off the ground.
"Thanks, Bryan." Nix says as soon as he is back on his feet.
"Jupiter? Nix, Bryan and Kit can hold the dragon in one place meanwhile why don't we perform a unison raid?" Allumos offers.
"A unison raid? With you?" Jupiter scoffs in amusement.
"It's the only idea I have at the moment that can cause major damage to this thing. I don't know if it will kill it but it would most certainly hurt. You in?" Allumos explains to Jupiter.
"Since you're asking me so kindly to destroy yet more of Atlantide in the process, don't blame me if this blows up in your face." Jupiter tells him.
"Good. Charge it up." Allumos says with determination.
We all get in our positions.
"For a low magic user, I'm quite impressed with your idea." Jupiter says as he starts up his part of the spell.
"You damn well know what I'm capable of. Don't give me that. Just charge your damn move!" Allumos snaps at Jupiter.
"Time to wipe away some filth." Jupiter says.
Allumos and Jupiter merges their charged moves.
"There! It's charged! You three! Move!" Allumos tells Nix, Kit and I.
"Don't have to tell me that twice." Kit says compliantly.
"Hope this works." Nix says as he and I share looks.
"Lets." I simply say.
Allumos and Jupiter does their move.
After the move, there is lots of damage and the dragon is defeated.
Jupiter is breathing heavily in exhaustion.
He looks at Allumos.
"Don't ask me to help again, dragon pest." Jupiter exclaims in annoyance.
Then I see a change in body behavior indicating that Brandon was back.
Kit, Nix and I walk closer to Brandon and Allumos.
"Did we do it?" I asked slightly confused.
Nix looks at me.
"I believe so, Bryan." He answers be with a grin.
"That was some serious firepower you two just did." Nix continues to Allumos and Brandon.
Brandon continues to breathe heavily.
"I definitely need some more training after this." He explains in exhaustion.
"You can say that again." Allumos says in exhaustion as well.
Nix laughs.
"Well that was fun!" Nix says and I grin back at him.
"Definitely agree, Nix." I say to him and he smiles back at me.
We should look for Abraham again, Bryan. We need to find more power as soon as possible. I sense that Hera is nearby.
I nod in agreement and I notice Nix clearly heard what SR just said.
"I have to go. I have other things to do." I explained to everyone.
They all look at me.
"Well it was nice meeting you, Bryan. Thanks for the help in fighting the dragon with us." Allumos says gratefully.
I nod at him.
"Good luck, Bryan!" Nix says and I smile at him mischievously and I walk off to find
Abraham.
