You may love someone who doesn't love you back no matter how hard you try but always remember that you should be loved in the same way because you always deserve it.
One week later:
At night around 10 O'clock John and I went to the place where the street races are held. We hid behind the wall waiting for him.
A car arrived and a boy came out. My heart stopped beating for a second when I saw who it was. John looked at me with wide eyes. I am still in shock but I should pull it together.
We were observing everything. Suddenly he smashed the head of the guy we kidnapped. He was beating the guy repeatedly on his head shouting at him and I started recording everything.
"Because of you we were almost caught, you idiot. Don't you know how to be careful. You messed up everything" he is dead.
John took a few photos, as we are behind him. His face was not captured both in photos and video.
John stepped forward to take pictures of him but something fell with a loud thud and all heads snapped in our direction. We immediately ran before we got caught.
"That was close" John panted.
"Give me the camera I will prepare a clear evidence file and inform you" he agreed and left.
"Hello Anna"
"Hello"
"We found the person who killed your daughter. I have all the evidence. I am preparing a file to submit in court so don't worry. Tomorrow is Livy's birthday I will be busy. I will meet you the next day with a file."
"Thank you, thank you so much! All I want is the person to be punished who killed my daughter. Thanks for believing and helping me."
"It's my job. I will meet you soon" I hung up. Whole night I prepared the file. I have a bad feeling about this.

Next morning I sat beside livy. I was so busy and never had time to spend with her but today I want to take her out.
"Happy birthday livy" I see the happiness in her eyes.
"Thank you dad!"
"As promised I will spend time with you. Go and get ready we will go out."
"Really!" I nodded with a smile.
"Dad what about me? You are taking only livy?" Rebacca frowned. I really miss spending time with them but from now I will make sure I will spend at least a day in a week with them.
"Today is all about Livy, it's her birthday. We will go for a family dinner this weekend. Fine?" She nodded.
We got into the car.
"How is school?" I started a conversation.
"Good" she is a bit awkward because it has been months since I talked with her for which I am ashamed.
"Dating any guy?" She blushed.
"I know I am not around much but you can say everything to me."
"Yes, it has been three months" she said shyly.
"Who is he? Is he treating you well?"
"Luca. Yes, he is always caring."
"Luca? The guy you've had a crush on for so long?" Her eyes widened. I chuckled.
"Y..yes"
