Evidence

If you want any help from someone try to talk with them but never pretend you like them to get your work done because they have feelings too. They might actually fell in love with you and will never believe in true love again for what you did to them.

Olivia's POV:

"Are you mad at me? Did I do something wrong?" I feel bad.

"Sorry, I was busy."

"What are you busy with? You can't even answer my calls?" Think something oli.

"Liam has crush on a guy he was shy to approach him so I was helping him. You know bestfriend goals." I smiled . If liam knows he will dig a grave to bury me but I know it worked because Sam is smiling.

We talked for an hour and had dinner. He dropped me at my apartment. When I got inside I saw Emma, my blood boiled but I should act dumb.

'You are already dumb' this bitch.

"Hi liv. How is your day?" She smiled.

"Good. Yours?"

"Good"

"I rarely see you in the apartment, are you busy?" Her smile dropped.

"Yeah busy with assignments and project work" I nodded.

It has been a week but we didn't find anything about rebecca. I am worried about her but can't do anything. I spend time with sam and dylan trying to get information about Emily but they always change the topic.

I am in my room thinking about other ways to find rebecca. No matter how hard I try to concentrate on the assignment I can't. My book fell on the floor I bent to take it but the pencil in my hand struck with my chain and the chain broke.

The chain fell on the floor and the locket broke into half. When I picked the chain I saw something on the floor and my eyes widened. 

It's a memory card! Now I remember  rebacca came home after a week of father's death.

"I know we are sad because of what happened to dad but it is your birthday as well. I brought this as your birthday gift" She showed me a chain with a heart locket.

"Take it. Make sure you wear it all the time and you better be careful with that because I worked my ass off to buy it. Happy birthday liv" I cried and hugged her.

"Thank you bex, thank you so much" everybody is busy blaming me for my father's death but Rebecca remembered. That was the last time I saw her.

I immediately called Liam and soph, we agreed to meet at Liam's house as he is alone and it is not safe to check in my apartment.

"You found that in your locket? It was right under our nose and we searched for hours in her room." Liam shocked. He immediately took the memory card. It is so small it actually looks like a small chip he inserted it in something and connected it to the laptop.

A video started playing. At first I didn't understand anything. It looked like a hospital room then I felt like my world collapsed.

It is a video of someone killing my father. There were three men and a woman all wore masks.

A guy injected something to my father and my father started crying in pain. He fought for a minute and then he was dead. Suddenly the masked guy turned towards the glass door and shouted then the recording stopped. 

I can't control my tears. This is the video of my father when he met with an accident on my birthday. Now it makes sense they told he will be fine but the very next day he died. Everybody thought he died because of an accident but he was killed.

"What the hell?!" Soph shouted. Liam held me tightly. I can't believe what I just saw.

"That is the reason Emily died. I think Emily is the one who recorded this. He saw her, she escaped. Emily came to meet Rebecca the day before she died and gave this recording to her. After a week Rebecca disappeared." All the pieces came together. 

"Why did they kill your father?" Soph asked.

"That's what we should find out" Liam answered. This is bigger than I ever thought dad was killed, Emily died and Rebecca is missing. 

"How can we find what actually happened to dad? Maybe he had enemies and they want to take revenge on him. "

"Your father is lawyer maybe we should check the cases your dad took care of so that we can find something" I nodded in agreement.

"But how do we know the details?" Soph asked. I thought for some time.

"I have an idea, dad's assistant Simon. I think he will help us. He know everything about the cases that dad handled."

"Perfect then we will go meet him tomorrow" we all agreed.

It's almost 10 p.m. when I came to my apartment. I was shocked to see Sam and Dylan, sitting on the couch Emma sighed in relief when she saw me but Sam is clenching his jaw.

"Where the hell did you go? What are you so busy with that you can't even answer our calls? Do you know how fucking scared I am when you didn't answer the calls. I thought something happened to you" I lost it.

"Why do you even care? When will you guys stop fooling me?" I shouted.

"What are you talking about princess?" Dylan was confused.

"Don't give me that shit. I know you guys want to find Rebecca and that is the only reason you are talking with me. I know Emma is Emily's sister and pretended like you don't know each other. You all lied to me, everything you said is a lie. I thought for once in my life people started talking to me and accepting me for who I am but for you everything is joke" I turned to sam.

"You even pretended that you like me to find my sister. If you really liked me you should have told me everything I would have helped you but you never did that. Secretes a lot of secrets" a sob escaped.

"That's not true" he whispered. 

"You don't have to act anymore. At least now tell me why do you want to find rebecca" they looked at each other Dylan sighed.

"Your sister killed Emily. She made Emily's death look like an accident. I know your father is a famous lawyer and he had connections. It is all because of some evidence we don't know what exactly it is but because of that evidence Emily was murdered.  Emma heard Emily talking to your sister about some evidence and the next day she was dead" this is insane.

"Rebacca will do no such thing. I agree Emily was killed but rebacca did nothing. I know about the evidence in fact I have it. Emily gave evidence to Rebecca the day before she died. If Rebecca has the evidence why will she kill Emily?"

"You have the evidence?" Sam shocked.

"Yes I have it. I know what the evidence is about. Emily has nothing to do with that evidence. She is in the wrong place at the wrong time."

"If rebacca didn't kill then who did it and why?" Sam asked.

I connected it to my laptop and they saw everything, they were in shock after watching the video.

"What the hell?"

"The person in that video is my father. They killed my father and Emily recorded it. She gave it to Rebecca. They killed Emily to take the evidence now they are after rebecca. She is in danger." there is a complete silence as they are processing everything.

"I don't care what you people think of my sister, I am gonna prove her innocence and make sure Emily gets justice."

"You are not doing it alone, we will help you" Sam said in a final tone. 

"I don't need your help, I am fine on my own."

"Oli don't you dare. If Emily is dead, Rebecca is missing because of this video then you are in danger too. We didn't tell you because we don't want to involve you and risk your life. From now on we will be with you. We will find Rebecca and that's final" I don't want to argue with him, I am tired. I nodded and went to my room.
