Caroline

Olivia's POV:

Next day we all went to meet Simon. He is the only option to find what actually happened.

"Hi Livy. How are you?"

"I am fine. How are you?"

"Good. How is mom and rebecca?"

"They are fine."

"Why suddenly visit something wrong?"

"Actually I came to talk with you."

"About?"

"Dad"

"What do you want to talk about him? Why all of sudden?" He confused. 

"Did dad act anything weird when he was dealing with any case? Did you observe anything?"

"What's going on Livy? Why all of sudden you are asking about your father's case?"

"Nothing. I just want to know."

"I can sense something is wrong. I can't share your father's case details with you" why people are testing my patience?

"Simon, Rebacca is in trouble, she went missing and I am trying to find her. Somehow it is linked with dad's case. I already lost my dad and did nothing but take the blame. I can't sit back when Rebecca is in danger. Please." I begged with tears.

"Rebacca is missing?" I nodded.

"I will help but you should tell me everything. I want to make sure you're not in trouble." I told him everything.

"We should go to cops and file a case, it is not a small issue to handle by yourself."

"No cops they are the one who created a fake evidences and confirmed Emily's death as an accident. Someone from the cops is helping them and we can't take a risk. we should have solid evidence to file a case" sam has a point.

"Fine. There is one case where your father acted weirdly. A drunk and drive accident case, everyone is convinced that it's an accident except the girl's mother. She came to meet your father, she is your father's college friend. I don't know what exactly happened to the girl but your father handled the case. He never allowed us to involve, he was so secretive about it." we should find her then she must know something.

"Do you know who she is? Do you have her address?"

"Yeah, wait a minute" he typed something in his computer, printed her address and gave it to me.

"Be careful Livy, always give me updates and if you need help, call me" I nodded.

"Thank you Simon."

"We should go meet her." Liam spoke.

After traveling an hour we are in front of her house. I knocked on the door and a woman came out.

"Hi. Is this Mrs.Smith's house?" I asked.

"You are Olivia right?" Wait, she know me?

"Yes." she smiled.

"I saw your photo in your dad's office. How are you sweetie?"

"Good. Can I talk to you for ten minutes?"

"Sure, come in" we sat on the couch.

"We came to know that dad took care of  your daughter's death case. Could you please tell me the details of that."

"You came to me that means you know what happened to your father."

"You know?"

"Yes. I met your father after my daughter's death. I know it was not an accident, it is murder because Caroline never drink nor drive. Her father died, met with an accident when he was drunk. From then she was scared to drive but someone framed my daughter's death as an accident. I want the person who is behind this to be punished. Nobody believed me so I went to your father for help. 

He is the only person who believed me. He started digging into Caroline's death case and he found the evidence. He called me the day before your birthday and he said he found who is behind all this. He even had a file with all the proofs.

He told he will submit that file in court the next day of your birthday but he met with an accident. When he was in hospital first they said he was fine but the next day he was dead. I am no fool to believe that. I thought of filing a case but I came to know that the police are also part of it. I got threatening calls so I didn't do anything. I am ashamed that I didn't help your father."

"You are saying there is a file to prove everything?" Sam asked.

"Yes but I don't know where it is. He never gave it to me."

"Thank you, please don't tell anyone that we are here."

"I won't. If you need any help please tell me I want justice to my daughter and your father" we came out of her house.

"We should find the file, that is the only way to find Rebecca" I said.

"We should also find the details about people who were framed as an accident of drunk and drive. Maybe we can find some clues." Sam spoke. 

"But where can we get data?"

"I can give it a try. My mother is a cop. I can get the data." Liam said.

"You will be in trouble if you do that."

"Do we have any option?" He argued.

"We have an investigator, I think he will help. He tried to find Rebecca but there is no luck. I think as it is just a data he will do the work. Alex will take care of it." Dylan said.

"Alex knows everything?!" I was surprised, Dylan nodded awkwardly.

We went to dad's office and Simon helped us. We searched every corner but we didn't find anything.

"Did you find something?" Liam asked.

"No." I replied.

"If it is not here, maybe he hide them in his room" Simon said.

Sam, Dylan and I immediately went to my house. Martha went home, mom is in the office and I have a key. We searched dad's room for almost two hours but didn't find anything.

"Where did he hide the file? We searched his office and his room but we didn't find anything." Sam groaned in frustration.
