You and Spider-Woman leapt after Miguel and the giant vulture that was carrying him off into the air. You both landed onto the giant creatures back, along with Miguel, who was desperately trying anything to slow the vulture down.
He suddenly pointed at the teenager accusingly. "You know, you've create a shocking mess by the way!"
"What mess?"
"King Pin's collider!" He growled.
Oh yeah. That was a pretty big mess. That had pissed Miguel off pretty bad, and stressed him out worse than you've ever seen. It involved a ton of long days and late nights that you forcefully inserted yourself into to help because Miguel was trying to fix it all by himself, again, insisting that your sleep was more important than his, and that he was fine, but the bags under his eyes and sag in his shoulders screamed at you otherwise.
"But we saved the mulitverse! We fixed it!" Spider-woman countered.
"No! You didn't! You left holes big enough for random guys like him to get shot into the wrong universe! It could cause time and space to collapse entirely! Don't even get me started on Earth-1990999 with Dr. Strange and that little nerd!" Now that, also, was a big catastrophe. So many different anomalies almost entered one universe at once. Somehow the weird Doctor guy with the cape fixed it, but it was a huge scare, that yet again, made Miguel absolutely lose his shit.
Suddenly the thing under you spoke. "What are you talking about?" It said in a very thick accent.
You had landed closest to its head, and were definitely not expecting it to speak, so you scrambled backwards...right into Miguel's chest. You turned your head and looked up at him. He was just staring right back at you. You scooted back immediately.
"I-I'm sorry I didn't-," you were awkwardly trying to apologize for doing nothing wrong.
Miguel put his hands out towards you, like you were a scared stray cat or something. "Hey-hey your okay-it's-it's fine-"
The vulture cut in again, more aggressively. "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!"
All three of you said some form of shut up:
"This isn't about you!"
"Shut up!"
"Be quiet!"
Being closest to the head, you stood up, trying to keep your balance.
"Hey be careful!" Miguel shouted behind you, as he was trying to redirect the vultures wings.
"I-I got this!" You shouted back. You wrapped your legs around the vultures head, to which he started clawing at your legs, but the new Spider-woman shot webs and pulled back both of his hands from your legs. You turned and she gave you a nod. You nodded back. You shot webs onto the closest concrete wall, and started directing the vulture right at it. You were pulling on your webs hard. You tilted your head slightly.
"When I say jump! Jump off okay?" You shouted to your group.
"Got it!" Spider-woman yelled back.
The concrete wall was getting closer. Almost. Almost there.
"Jump! Now!"
Everybody slid of the vulture, hitting the ground with a thud and rolling into different areas. The vulture let out a yell as he rammed headfirst into the concrete wall. Hard. He slid off the wall after impact directly in front of you. He started to stand up immediately.
"God he just won't give up," you said to yourself. You tried to shoot a web on an adjoining wall to regroup with Miguel before sparring with this vulture guy again, but no webs shot out. Oh shit. You started frantically hitting your web shooters against eachother, trying to get them to work. Shit shit shit. Not now.
The vulture laid dull eyes on you. He started slinking towards you. "Your a tiny spider, yes?"
His claws were extending now. "I could tear you apart easily, little one." All you could do was scoot back from him, a wall was behind you, and he was huge, especially with his wings blocking you in. Even if you tried to run, he would catch you easily. You desperately tried to shoot webs at him, but nothing came out. Damn it. He raised his clawed hand at you to strike. You took a deep breath.
But the vulture didn't get to that part, because Miguel suddenly crashed into one of his wings, and pulled him away from you.
"Don't touch her!" He shouted angrily. You decided to ignore that, since neither of you were gonna adress it later. It's how it always is. You scrambled up, hearing something tinkling in your pocket. You looked down. Your diamonds. Are you kidding? You could've used those! You gave yourself some slack though, since the throwing diamonds were a very new addition to your suit, and you were so used to just using webs alone, that you often forgot about them. That's why Miguel reminded you, he knows you forget.
Spider-woman suddenly landed next you, grabbing your wrists. "Here try this," she said, knocking your web shooters together vertically, not horizontally like you were previously doing. Webs started shooting out. "Thanks," you said to her. "Yeah- yeah no problem."
Suddenly a bright light, beamed over both of you. Jess finally shows up, you thought to yourself. Jess launched through the portal, atop her super badass motorcycle that you begged Miguel to let you have one also. And he said "it's for pregnant people only, Y/N." And somewhere in the back of your mind a little voice said "we can make that happen," and you scolded yourself very harshly afterwards, furious with yourself. You avoided Miguel for an entire day afterwards, to embarrassed to even look at him.
"Who's she?" The Spider-woman next to you asked, as Jess hit the vulture with her motorcycle above you.
"Another Spider-woman, be right back!" You shot some webs on the back of Jess's motorcycle as she flew through the air. You landed on the back.
"Took you long enough!" You shouted playfully.
"I know girl! I'm sorry, my belly is getting harder and harder to fit into this suit." She yelled back at you through the wind. The bike landed on some higher level of the building. You slid off the bike. The teenager suddenly landed before you guys. Jess addressed her. "Spider-woman," was all she said as she nodded at her.
The young kid stood in shook. "M-me too."
She looked down at Jess. "Are you...?"
Jess looked down at her belly. "Oh this? We don't know the sex yet, my husband wants it to be a surprise. He's corny but so hot!"
"Will you guys adopt me?" The teenager said suddenly.
"What?" You said.
"What? What do you mean?" She tried to cover up quickly.
Miguel suddenly burst through a concrete post loudly, shouting at you guys to focus.
"Right, right, right. Come on Y/N. You too kid," ushered Jess. You leapt on the back of her bike, the other Spider-woman running behind you.
Jess drove up a wall next to Miguel and the vulture, and you finally drove your hand into your diamond pouch. You fisted a handful and skillfully threw them at the vulture, puncturing his body, and he let out a yell, clawing at the gems sticking from his body.
The vulture shot up, struggling with Miguel on his back, through a skylight at the top of the building, where a helicopter was circling, as the searchlight was shining down to the ground around you and the girls.
It didn't take long for the helicopter to come crashing through the ceiling.
