This one's a bit longer sry
—————-
Everyone was after Miles. And by everyone, you meant basically every single Spider. You were running ahead of the group, along with Gwen, Peter and Mayday, and Jess. You hadn't seen Miles or Miguel in at least a few minutes. You stopped. What were you running after then? The rest of the gang continued ahead, before you yelled out to them, drawing the four of them back.
"Has anyone actually seen Miles? I haven't had any eyes on him for at least five minutes."
"Uh he's right there, actually," said Peter casually pointing out the window.
"Wha-," you stopped short when you peered out the large window to see Miles and Miguel falling from a window in one of the higher floors above you.
"Let's go," you said, fishing out a couple diamonds from your pocket and hurling them at the window in front of you, breaking the glass.
"Why doesn't she use those more often?" You heard Peter mumble.
You all leapt through the window, Jess on her bike, free falling for a short period of time. Miguel and Miles were over to your left. You had to get over there and stop this. You soon landed on a beam from a building nearby, with Jess and Gwen. Peter had gone missing from the group. Jess pulled up next to Gwen as she ran alongside you.
"Gwen, I know he's your friend, but it's the only way-,"
"But my gut says-,"
"Then use your head!" Jess shouted as she sped ahead of you. Gwen made eye contact with you but you didn't say anything.
Right now, you didn't know what to say or do about anything. This was such a hard situation to untangle. Miguel was being harsh, but to save the multiverse and everyone in it. Miles was being stubborn, so he could save his Dad. Nothing seemed right anymore.
You looked up to see Miles desperately clinging to a flying car. Miguel suddenly came into view, cutting Miles web with his arm blades. Show-off, you thought. Miles fell, and Jess hit him extremely hard with her bike.
"Oh no, Miles!" Gwen shouted next to you, as you both finally caught up to the chaos.
Gwen suddenly leapt off the side of the beam, you leaping after her. You realized what she was doing, so you shot a web at the beam you were falling from, and then one at her wrist as she shot one to catch Miles. You were all holding on, but watched as Miles ripped the web Gwen had connected to his chest. Ouch, you thought.
Miles was falling again, but was soon in the clutches of several Spiders. You looked down at Gwen who just continued to hang weakly, staring after Miles. You gave your web that was holding her wrist a tug to get her attention. She looked up at you with a defeated face.
"Come on Gwen, this isn't over," you said as Gwen nodded, shooting her own web to the top of the beam, both of you swinging back to the surface of it. Before taking off again, you looked around and spotted Miles and the crowd of Spiders around him falling into one of the huge vents that led to the city below.
"There!" You said pointing, tearing towards it, Gwen right on your heels.
You both swung down into the vent, immediately shooting webs to nearby buildings to start swinging. You scanned the area for Miles, which was hard since the underground city was dark, and had TONS of places a scrawny teenager could easily hide in.
"I don't see him-I-where is he?" You heard Gwen say behind you.
"I don't see him right now-," you stopped as you saw an explosion from a nearby vent. You suddenly saw Miles through the smoke, being chased by Jess and Peter B. You opened your mouth to tell Gwen you spotted him, but she was already swinging after him, and you followed.
"Where does he think he's going?" Gwen asked.
"I don't really think he planned this out!" Peter yelled.
Miles suddenly swung onto a delivery truck that was speeding along tons of traffic. You groaned before landing a few vehicles behind him, the rest of the group doing the same except Jess, who hit the road, weaving in between cars.
"If I hadn't said it before," Jess shouted to Peter on her bike, "your a terrible mentor."
Miles turned around abruptly and shot webs against Jess, pinning her to the front of a bus.
"Well he did just beat you!" Peter yelled at her.
You suddenly heard banging footsteps behind you, and turned to see Miguel barreling towards the group.
"Your both equally terrible, does that settle it?" He yelled as he sped past. Miguel leaped and landed right behind Miles throwing his arm blades out at him, you held your breath. Miguel would never intentionally hurt Miles, right? You prayed you were right.
Miles skillfully ducked the swing, continuing to battle it out with Miguel.
"Stop pretending you know where your going!" Miguel yelled at him, throwing punches.
"Oh I have a plan! I just...haven't told you yet!" Miles shouted back as he kicked at Miguel.
You, Gwen, and Peter struggled to keep up as Miles and Miguel fought up one of the trains. Miles shot some web at Miguel's face, and grabbed onto a handle of the train giving him a boost. Miguel lunged at him, but missed and grabbed Miles Spider Society day pass. It slipped off his wrist as Miguel fell backwards.
That's not good. He'll be glitching now.
"His pass!" Gwen yelled in despair next to you, as you climbed up the train. You turned your head back up to Miles, watching as he glitched painfully, letting go of the handle he had a grip on.
Miguel landed on the train next to you. You grabbed his arm roughly.
"Miguel this has to stop!"
"We can't let him ruin a canon, Y/N! You know what happens! We can't trust him!" And he didn't wait for your answer before he tore after Miles again. You watched as he headed upwards, now out of your sight along with Miles.
"Where'd they go?" Peter yelled, clutching Mayday to his chest.
"Up!" You shouted over your shoulder. You all continued to crawl up the train, but you couldn't see Miles or Miguel anywhere. You suddenly looked up and squinted to see two small dots falling from the top of the train. Miles and Miguel.
Miguel landed roughly on the train, clawing the top to stay upright.
"Your the original anomaly!" He yelled as he climbed up towards Miles, shooting his neon red webs at him, tearing of parts of the train in the process. Miles let out a groan above him as he glitched.
"The spider that bit you wasn't from your dimension! It was never supposed to bite you!"
Gwen and Peter crawled up next to you, seeing the scene in front of you.
"Miguel stop!" Gwen yelled.
He didn't listen. "There's a dimension out there without a Spider-Man because it bit you instead!"
You had to stop this. Someone was going to get hurt, or worse. The pressure from the wind was bearing down on all of you, threatening to tear you hands from the train, leading you to free fall from the train.
"You were never supposed to be Spider-Man!"
"No! Your wrong!" Miles yelled trying to stop Miguel by shooting webs at him.
"Your a mistake!" Miguel ripped through the webs easily, grabbing Miles and lifting him up into the air easily, and then roughly slamming him down onto the train with a painful crash.
"Y/N tell him to stop!" Gwen said next to you, tears in her blue eyes. Your gaze flicked to Miguel, as he wrestled Miles into the top of the train. You looked back at Gwen's pitiful expression, and nodded.
"Don't worry!" You shouted to her.
You slowly started to crawl toward the two in front of you, fighting against the wind.
"Miguel!" You tried, but got nothing in response. You grunted, as you continued to pull yourself upwards. Soon, you were close enough to reach out for Miguel.
"Miguel! Stop right-"
You weren't expecting his elbow to collide with your nose, or his arm blade to skim your cheekbone.
