it was nearing one am, and tommy's living room was occupied by the two of us, bill, niki, jack and eleanor. we'd randomly decided to spend the night together without filming, simply because we were bored and had nothing better to do.

"tommy, get your fucking feet away from me!" i screeched as tommy put his bare feet next to my head, the two of us lying opposite on one of the couches.

"you love them, don't lie." tommy laughed, moving his feet.

"i literally hate feet and you know i do." i scoffed, kicking his arm.

"i'm bored." jack whined.

"do you ever stop fucking complaining?" tommy yelled at the bald man, sitting up.

"tommy, stop being mean." niki butted in, shaking her head.

"sorry, niki." he responded, "do you want to go somewhere? i reckon we go on a walk to like, i dunno, the pier or something."

everybody collectively agreed, putting their shoes on. after i'd tied the laces to my nike blazers, i walked into tommy's bedroom, taking one of his merch jumpers to slide over my tank top, brighton at night time in january isn't the warmest.

"i was about to shout at you," tommy said, looking at the blue jumper on my body. "but it's my merch so i'll let you off."

the group of us left tommy's apartment, tommy locking the door and slipping the key to me so he didn't lose it. eleanor and jack walked a little behind the rest of us, hands interlocked. niki and i were talking about a stream she did the day before, whilst bill and tommy bullied each other.

exhaling, i shot a glare to bill who bumped into the side of me for the seventh time in two minutes. "bill, i'm gonna smash your face in, stop fucking walking into me."

"i'm diabetic, val, i can't walk in a straight line!"

"where is your logic? at all?" i laughed before turning back to niki.

bill and i got close when aimee and tubbo introduced me to him, we got on really well and clicked instantly. tommy got a little bit jealous over the friendship, which he didn't know i was aware of, but he made it awfully obvious. bill was also very much aware of the fact, and we liked to play up on it and tease him, and tommy would simply start talking about memories between us. it was funny, cute, but funnier than anything.

"me 'n ellie are going to go to that shop, it shuts at two so we only have twenty minutes, do any of you want anything?" jack spoke up, him and eleanor catching up to us.

everybody shared what they wanted, the two leaving us and walking to the shop across the road from the beach. with that, the rest of us walked onto the beach and found a spot on the rocks, not too close to the sea that was coming in.

"bill, make a tiktok with me." i demanded, bill going to say 'no' but giving in anyway.

whilst i put my all into making it, bill simply nodded to the lyrics whilst tommy and niki got themselves involved, dancing in the background. bill and i shared a look and a laugh, while i posted the tiktok.

everyone went back to their phones, suspecting absolutely nothing. with a screech, eleanor grabbed onto my shoulders, causing me to jump and throw my phone.

"ellie you bitch!" i screamed, "oh my fucking— you– i hate you, so much."

"sorry," she faked an apology, plopping down next to me whilst jack sat beside her, taking everything out of the bag. "we just stood there watching you for like two minutes."

"el, we weren't meant to tell them that." jack said, serious as ever.

letting out a yawn, i picked my phone up, checking for any scratches or cracks. relieved at the sight of nothing, i clicked it on, reading the time before resting my head down on whoever's shoulder that was next to me. my luck being my luck — it was bill. he let me lay my head there, going about his conversation.

"can we do something? i'm bored." tommy asked, messing with his fingers.

"like what?" i voiced, keeping my eyes closed.

"i don't know, there's a basketball court, we can go play basketball." he suggested, picking up a rock and throwing it forwards.

"alright," i grinned, everybody else agreeing with the idea, "c'mon then."
