Chapter Four

Naruto was sitting on the stairs outside of his house. "What was I thinking? Agreeing to this relationship thing. She should've been with Kiba or something."

"Kiba is a big no in my opinion." Sasuke walked outside and sat next to Naruto. "I might not deserve you. But I want you, Naruto."

"I'm just a big ol idiot with nothing to live for." This made Sasuke mad. "Nothing to live for?! Naruto, you saved the world! And the village on plenty of occasions."

"Sasuke you can only name two of those occasions." "When the Nine Tails was sealed into you, you saved the village from any more destruction."

"And?" "During the Chunin exams. When Gaara was evil, when he transformed into Shukaku, you summoned Gamabunta and took him down."

"After you weakened him." "You saved the village from Pain." "You weren't even there for that one."

"You saved me from destroying the Leaf Village. And you stopped Toneri, too."

"With your help." "Damn it Naruto! That's not the point!"

"The point is, your knuckleheadness saved the world on many occasions. If you call that stupidity, then maybe I don't deserve you..."

"Sasuke..." Naruto was at a loss for words. "I'm sorry..." Naruto started walking off. "Where are you going?"

"Away." "Where?" "Somewhere that's not the leaf." Sasuke got up and ran after him. Naruto turned and Sasuke smacked him.

"I've lost so many people. I don't wanna lose you too!" Sasuke was crying. She clung onto Naruto. "You mean more to me just as much as Itachi did! If you're an idiot, you're my idiot!"

Sasuke was full on sobbing now. Naruto hugged Sasuke. "I'm sorry..." They sat there for a few minutes, until Sasuke passed out.

'She cried herself to sleep.' She had dried tear stains on her cheeks. Naruto brought her into his house and laid her down.

Naruto laid next to her, and uncovered the hair from her face. "I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry." Naruto felt a tear fall from his eye.

Naruto hugged her and cried himself to sleep, like Sasuke did.

An Anbu member was staring through the window. "If I can't have her... He definitely can't. Your days are numbered. Uzumaki."
