Naruto and Menma quietly walked over to a sleeping Sasuke. "Okay, do it." Naruto set Menma on the bed.
He climbed over to his mother's face and started messing with her. She opened her eyes. Naruto climbed behind her.
Menma started playing with his mother's face. "What are you doing, Menma? Mommy's trying to sleep."
Naruto wrapped his arms around her waist and picked her up. "Wha! Naruto, put me down!"
Naruto carried her bridal style. "What are you doing?" "Close your eyes." "Why?" "Just close them."
Sasuke sighed and closed her eyes. Naruto set her down at the kitchen table. "Okay. Open your eyes."
She slowly opened her eyes. "Surprise!" There were birthday decorations. Purple ribbons hung from the roof.
There was a purple table cloth, and a chocolate cake with purple frosting. "Happy birthday, Mommy." Menma hugged his mother's leg.
"Thank you, sweetie." Naruto leaned against the wall, and smiled. Sasuke looked over at him.
"When did you manage to buy this?" "Buy what?" "Everything." "I bought it a few hours ago."
"Thank you, Naruto. I love you so much." "Don't mention it." Naruto smiled brightly at Sasuke.
The last time she had a birthday party was before she left the village.
-Flashback-
"Happy Birthday, Sasuke!" "Hn." Naruto sat with his arms folded and a smug look on his face.
"Aren't you gonna tell Sasuke happy birthday, Pinhead!?" Sakura jumped at Naruto.
Sasuke looked over. Naruto looked back at her. "H-happy Birthday." Naruto mumbled.
"Say it louder, Idiot!" "Happy Birthday." "Louder!" "It's no use, Sakura. He's not gonna say it louder." Sasuke said smugly.
"I'm going outside." Naruto jumped out of her window. "Unbelievable! You invited him to your party, and he doesn't even say happy birthday!" Sakura was being a suck up.
"Just be quiet, Sakura." Sasuke went outside. She saw Naruto sitting outside with his legs crossed.
"What are you still doing here?" Sasuke put her hands in her pockets. Naruto turned his head. "If you want me to leave just say so." He stood up and started walking.
She grabbed his wrist. "Please. Don't leave." Naruto stopped. "I've never heard you say please. Or don't leave."
"Don't ruin it, Usaratonkachi." She let go of his wrist. "I'm sorry for not saying happy birthday. It just felt unfair. No one said it for me." Naruto said, a bit sad.
"Well, for all the birthdays I missed, happy birthday." Sasuke turned away. "Now it's your turn." Naruto planted his lips on hers. Sasuke was wide eyed.
"Happy Birthday, Sasuke." Naruto smiled, turned and left. Sasuke smiled and touched her lips.
-Present Day-
Sasuke smiled. "Mommy! Open my gift!" Menma handed her a purple box. She smiled. She opened the box to find a drawing with them on it.
"Thank you, Menma." Naruto handed her a box. "From me to you." She opened it to find a picture of her with her family.
She was sitting on top of Itachi's shoulders. "Where did you find this?" "You might hate me, but I went into the Uchiha Compound. I looked around your house with the assistance of Lady Tsunade. I found this picture."
A tear dripped down from Sasuke's cheek. "Mommy? Are you hurt?" Sasuke sniffled. "No sweetie. Mommy's fine."
She stood up and walked over to Naruto. "I-i didn't mean anything by it." Naruto closed his eyes.
Sasuke hugged Naruto. He looked down. "Thank you. Thank you so much." Sasuke was crying in his chest.
He placed his hand on her head. "It's okay, Sasuke." "I love you so much, Naruto."
"I love you too, Sasuke."
