Chapter 31

"Hah!" Menma ignited his Kunai Lightning, and tried to strike Naruto. Menma has his Sharingan activated to try and get the edge over his dad. Naruto kept a stoic expression on his face and used his bandaged hand to grab the lighting, completely shutting it down.

"What?!" Menma asked curiously. Naruto leg swept Menma, and he hit the ground, dropping his Kunai. Naruto formed his Rasengan, and launched it towards Menma. He closed his eyes and braces for the impact.

Naruto cancelled the Rasengan, and placed his hand on Menma's chest. He opened his eyes, confused. "I want to show you something." Naruto stood up and tucked his hands in his pockets.

He began to walk away, and Menma jumped up. "Wait!" Menma ran after him.

Naruto led Menma to the Hokage office, and walked into his office. He opened one of the drawers behind his desk, and pulled out a small box. Naruto flicked the lid off of the box.

"This belonged to my father..." He pulled out Minato's kunai. "I used it, and now, it's time for you to use it. The Rasengan might not be your specialty, but your Kunai Lightning definitely is. I want you to master that technique with my dad's Kunai."

Naruto held it out, and Menma grabbed it with both hands. He rubbed his fingers across the indentions that read, 'Catch Me'.

[I don't know if that's what they say, but that's my interpretation for this story]

"I keep the other one with me at all times. It's indentions say, 'If You Can'.

Menma tried to ignite his signature attack, but it didn't work. A small spark appeared from the tip of it, but that was about it. Menma and Naruto's stomach grumbled.

"Let's head home before mom kills us both." Naruto stated and rubbed Menma's head. "Race you there!" Menma leaped out the window.

He hopped from building to building, getting closer to his house. "I actually won!" Menma yelled as he bursted through the front door, and saw Naruto holding Sayuri. "Took you long enough."

"What?! You cheated!" "If being the reincarnation of a god is cheating, then I guess I did." "You're the reincarnation of a god?" "Yeah. Mom is too."

Sasuke smiled at Menma. "It's true." "Is that why you two fell for each other, daddy?" Sayuri asked. "Uhm, kind of." "But that's another story. Who's hungry?" "Me!" Sayuri yelled, rasing her hand. Naruto laughed.
