Chapter Three

Naruto and Sasuke were having the time of their lives. They haven't had this much fun since they were 12 and 13.

Naruto just finished telling Sasuke a joke that Jaraiya Sensei told Naruto. It was obviously a dirty joke, and Naruto didn't know that.

"Naruto, do you know what that means?" "No, but Pervy Sage told it to me." "Of course he did." "What does it mean?" "You're too innocent for me to tell you."

Naruto shrugged it off. Naruto's stomach started growling. He put his hand on his stomach.

"Didn't you eat this morning?" Sasuke asked, now facing Naruto. "Well... I would've... But I wasn't... Hungry?"

"Why didn't you eat?" "I wasn't hungry at that period of time where the average human body would require energy and stimulation at the time they would awake?"

"You know I can tell when you lie right?" "I was not. I was telling the truth to the question you asked. Therefore I did what I was required to do."

"Let's go eat something." "Okay! Can we go to Ichiraku?" Naruto was practically jumping up and down.

Sasuke sighed. "Fine..." "Yess!" Naruto threw his hands in the air and picked up Sasuke, bridal style.

"Hey! Put me down this instant Uzumaki Naruto! I'm warning you! And how are you carrying me with one arm?!"

"I circulate chakra into my arm. The same amount of chakra that would be in my right arm which adds my right arms strength into my left."

"Hmm. That's pretty smart." Sasuke did the same thing but with her left arm, and pinned Naruto down.

"Thanks for telling me!" "Every time I get good ideas you always use them against me! No fair!"

"Boo hoo. Cry about it." "I think I'm gonna..." Sasuke unpinned Naruto and carried him over her shoulder.

"Okay... I really am gonna cry." Sasuke laughed.

"You cheated!" Sasuke yelled. "How did I cheat?!" Naruto and Sasuke were seeing who could eat Ichiraku faster. And no surprise... It was Naruto.

"I'm just better than you." "Well, I also don't eat this everyday." "Hey! Nevermind. I was gonna say I'm cutting down on it, but that would be a lie." Naruto laughed nervously.

"I'm stuffed. Here Teuchi." Naruto paid for both of them. Naruto stood up and stretched. "I could go for a nap."

"It's 2PM." "Exactly... Close enough." "Naruto..." Sasuke and Teuchi said in unison, rubbing their temples.

"Home sweet home!" Naruto ran and jumped onto the couch. "You're gonna break that!"

"It's fine... Goodnight Sasuke." "Why don't you sleep in bed? Why the couch?" "I'm letting you have the bed. Goodnight." Naruto turned.

"Oh. Wait. Do you not wanna sleep next to me?!" "Nope. I mean.." "Oh now you're gonna get it!" Sasuke jumped on the couch with Naruto and wrestled him.

"Owe! Okay okay!" "Okay what?" "I'll sleep with you... That didn't come out right..."

"Uzumaki~ I didn't know you had that side in you~" "I don't! You did this to me!"

"What did I do to deserve this?" Naruto was being held by Sasuke in the bed she slept in, which was technically Naruto's.

"You rescued me from my dark path. That's what you did." "Just wait till I get my prosthetic..." "Did you just threaten me?" Naruto pretended to snore.

"Don't play me like I'm an idiot Uzumaki. I know you're not asleep." Naruto started snoring louder. Sasuke punched him in the stomach. "Oomph! What the hell was that for?!"

"You think I'm stupid don't you?" Sasuke turned away. "No! I don't think you're stupid! Well even if you were you're smarter than me. But i don't think you're stupid."

Sasuke turned back. "Well I'm going to sleep. Now I'm mad." Sasuke laid down. Naruto figured she fell asleep quickly, so he waited five minutes.

"Great. Now she's mad. Look what you did you fricken idiot. I'm not an idiot you're an idiot... Am I talking to myself? What is wrong with me?"

Sasuke snickered. "Huh? Hey! You're still awake aren't you?!" Sasuke didn't move. She looked as if she was actually still asleep.

Naruto sighed. "Even if she was pretending, she looks cute when she sleeps. And when she's awake. She doesn't deserve to be with me. She deserves someone better. Not an idiot like me."

Naruto got out of bed, and left the house.
