Chapter Fourteen

Naruto was sleeping on the couch when Sasuke got home. She managed to get the ramen maker for free.

She put it in the cabinet until Wednesday. Naruto woke up. "Hey, Sasuke. Did you get anything good?"

"Yeah. But you're gonna have to wait to get it." "Aw what? Why?" "It's for your birthday."

"Oh! Okay I'll wait!" Sasuke smiled. She sat the carrier on the floor. Naruto looked over the couch to look at his son.

Menma babbled at Naruto. Naruto made a funny face at him, and he laughed. Sasuke let him out of the carrier. He crawled over to Sasuke.

"M... M.." "Sasuke! He's trying to say something!" She crouched down.

"Ma... Mama!" "He said Mama!" Sasuke picked up Menma. "Whaa!" Naruto fell over the couch. "Owe." Menma giggled. "D... Da.. Dada!"

Naruto stood up. "Yeah. I'm Dada." Naruto grabbed Menma. He smiled. Menma smacked him on the head.

Menma laughed. Naruto held him to his chest. "Oh. Sasuke, I wanted to tell you! I'm officially the Hokage! The ceremony is tomorrow."

"That's great!" She hugged him. "It's funny. Six years ago, well almost seven now, I wanted to be Hokage. And now I'm officially Hokage. All my dreams are coming true."

He laid his head on Sasuke's. "I can't wait." The rest of the day went normal. Menma and Naruto were pretending to wrestle. Sasuke was cooking dinner.

"You said Ino and Sakura were coming over?" "Yeah. They didn't have anything to do tonight."

Menma snook up on Naruto and smacked his chest. "Aww! You got me! Bleh." Naruto fell backwards, making it seem like he died.

Menma started to cry. Sasuke looked over. "Oh! It's okay Menma! Daddy's still alive! It's okay!" Menma kept crying. "Sasuke! I need your help!" "He's probably hungry."

She picked up Menma. She nursed him. Naruto stared. "Naruto." "Yeah?" He kept staring.

"Keep stirring the food please." "Yes ma'am."

It was 6:15 and there was a knock on the door. Sasuke put Menma to sleep. "I got it!" Naruto went to the door.

He opened the door. "Hey guys. Come in." Naruto let Ino and Sakura in. Sasuke set plates on the table.

"Hey Sasuke." "Hey girls." They hugged each other. "How have you been?" "Ino we just saw each other earlier."

The girls sat down. Naruto sat down shortly after. "So. How have you been Naruto?"

"Ehh." Sasuke looked over. "Great actually, thanks for asking. How about you guys."

"We're alright." "Did Naruto tell you?" "Tell us what?" Sasuke placed his hand over Naruto's.

"Naruto's officially the Hokage! The ceremony is tomorrow." "Wow. You really did it huh?"

"What can I say? It was all a matter of time before they realized my Hokage-ness."

"Naruto, you can barely keep track of your shoes." " I don't see the problem here."

The night went smoothly. They all ate, exchanged hugs and Ino and Sakura left.
