Chapter Eight

A week after last chapter

Naruto woke up to the sound of Sasuke screaming. Naruto bolted out of bed and ran into the bathroom.

"What?! What is it?!" "Naruto... You're gonna be a father..." Sasuke held up a pregnancy test. "I... What?"

Sasuke had tears of joy in her eyes. She got up and hugged Naruto. "We're going to be parents."

"Welp I guess I'll die sealing the Kyubi into our child." "Naruto!" "I was joking!" Naruto picked up Sasuke.

"I'm gonna be a dad!" Naruto and Sasuke laughed with each other. "But..." Sasuke had a questioning stare. "But what?"

"I'm scared. I don't know how to raise a child. I'm afraid of doing it wrong, ya know? I really don't wanna screw it up."

Sasuke placed reassuring hands on Naruto's face. "Naruto. You're going to do great. You practically raised Konohamaru, now look at him. He's practically a Jōnin."

"Yeah, and I'm not." Naruto said jokingly, but Sasuke took it seriously. "Naruto, you're stronger than any Jōnin."

Naruto placed his hands over hers. "Okay. I'll take your word for it." "Okay. We should check in with Lady Tsunade."

And that they did. Naruto and Sasuke went to break the news to Tsunade. "You're what?!"

"Yes Lady Tsunade. I'm pregnant." "Well if I may suggest something... You two will have to get married before then."

"What? Why?" Naruto wasn't paying attention. He was playing with doctors needles.

"Naruto!" Naruto dropped the needles "Did you hear what I just said?" "Yeah." "What did I say?" "Did you hear what I just said."

The girls facepalmed. "Naruto... We have to get married." "Wait for real?" "Yes." "Why?" They turned to Tsunade.

"Since Naruto has inserted his seed, he will be more protective until the child is born. The Kyubi influence will hit harder than a speeding bus. Naruto will be in a stage where he will do anything to protect his mate. In which case this is you. The only way to ensure the influence calms down is by marriage."

"Well he'd do anything to protect me anyways." "Naruto may seem like a goofball now, but later down the line until the child is born, his eyes will continue to have slits and red."

Tsunade walked over to Sasuke. "Naruto this is just for demonstration." "Huh?" Tsunade pulled a Kunai to Sasuke's throat.

Naruto dropped the needle he was holding. His eyes turned red and his pupils became slits.

"Get her Naruto. She is harming your mate!" Kurama said. Naruto body flickered and held Tsunade down.

Sasuke suppressed Naruto with the seal Tsunade gave her before he charged her. Naruto groaned. "What just happened?"

Naruto was holding his head when Kurama spoke to him. "The woman with the incredible assets attacked Sasuke!"

"Lady Tsunade? Why would she do that?" "Who are you talking to?" Tsunade asked. "The Kyubi." Sasuke answered.

"So Naruto. For the demonstration I put a Kunai to Sasuke's throat and you charged me in protection for your mate and offspring."

"Can you not use big words?" "You attacked Lady Tsunade to protect me and our child."

"Ooh." "So. Like I said earlier, you two will have to get married in order for the tension to calm down."

The mixed couple bowed. "Yes Lady Tsunade."
