CALUM POV:

OCTOBER 19TH

Emery was back from her small tour today. I hadn't heard from her in two weeks, and I started to wonder if she saw all the fan pages. It was a 50/50 split between people loving it and people hating it. I didn't know what to do, there was no way of fixing this and I was just hoping that she was okay.

Mentally and physically okay.

We all headed out around 7 because we knew traffic would be awful. Emery was playing at the Fonda and the traffic in LA was always shitty, no matter the time.

"I'm so excited." Sierra smiled brightly.

"I really don't think it's a good idea that I go." None of us really talked about what happened. I told them all it was an accident, that I dropped my phone and when I picked it back up, the comment was liked.

"Cal, relax, we all know the truth so if anyone says anything we will simply tell them what really happened." Luke shakes his head, looking back at me.

The fact that they ate that bullshit up is honestly kind of upsetting, none of them knew I was lying. I figured my best friends would be able to pick up on any lie I told, but they didn't this time.

"That's a good plan," I say while nodding in agreement.

"Unless it wasn't an accident, and you have something you want to tell us." Crystal laughs.

I give her a quaint smile and shake my head, "Nothing to tell."

We arrived at the venue and pulled into the back, this was the easiest way for us to get in so that we didn't take the light off Emery and her band. I wanted nothing more than to give her some space right now, I knew she was probably livid.

We all piled out of the car and into the dark back room where her and the girls sat, drinking and talking about. The one person who wasn't doing any of those things was Emery. She was scrolling on her phone and from where I was standing, I could see she was looking through the comments of a fan page, the post was about me and her.

"Emery," I walk up behind her, and she quickly turns off her phone.

"What?" She was upset, I could tell.

"Can we talk?" I ask quietly.

"I don't want to talk right now, please." She sounded so hurt; this is something I will never forget.

This may seem over dramatic or silly to some people, but no one understands what it's like to have thousands of people dig and dig at you until you snap. That's what was happening, these people were just digging and clawing at her, they were angry that she's getting attention from me, even if it was an accident, they don't care.

"Cal, let's go to our seats." Luke gets my attention.

"Have a good show guys!" Mikey calls out as we leave the little room.

I felt so sorry for her, my heart hurt for her, and I knew that I couldn't make things better, I could only make them worse.

It was moments like these that made me miss when we were high.

The show ended and they were great. I honestly don't think that I have ever been to a better concert. Besides our own of course. Everyone decided to go to mine and Ash's house after, to celebrate a good tour and a good night, this meant there was no way for me to avoid her.
