CHAPTER TWO
A REAL Y/N MOMENT.

— HARMONY —

THE MINUTE, I open my eyes, I vow to never, ever drink again. The headache I'm enduring is other worldly. I groan as I pull myself up in bed, resting the back of my head against the headboard.

I look around the room, only to see no sign of Aaliyah. I let out a chesty cough, looking at my phone for the time. It's 9:55am.

As I put my phone down, Aaliyah walks through the door with a glass of water and tablets.

"Good morning." She sings cheerily. Only earning a glare back from me. I've forgotten how Aaliyah is annoyingly good at holding her alcohol and that she rarely wakes up the next morning with a hangover. No matter how much she drinks. And that's a lot.

"It's so annoying how you don't wake up like me." I roll my eyes, thanking her as I take the glass of water and the tablets from her hand.

Popping two ibuprofens into my mouth, I wash them down with water. A sigh of relief escaping my lips afterwards. I slump back down in bed as Aaliyah climbs over to the other side. Laying down with me.

My phone begins to buzz repeatedly. I pat the bed for it until I find it. Picking it up I see that an unknown number is calling me. My eyebrows raise in confusion as I answer it.

"Hello?" I voice politely.

"Hi harmony, my name is Michael. I'm from the company starline management. We dm'ed yesterday on Instagram regarding our offer. You agreed to a phone call with us today so we could talk over our proposition." The man over the phone explains.

"Oh!" My eyes widen as I look at Aaliyah in panic. Clicking the speaker button.

"We have a client, Jude Bellingham. The proposition we have for you, would be to do with him." Michael explains.

"Okay." I'm still confused about what's actually going on. I remember nothing from last night.

"Would you be able to give me two seconds, I just need to answer..the door." I lie frantically.

"Sure, no worries." Michael accepts.

My thumb flys to the mute button and then I whip my head back towards my best friend.

"What the fuck!" I yell

"What did I do last night. Why is this management company that works with Jude Bellingham calling me? What is this fucking proposition." I'm stressed to say the least.

"Last night, when we were off our heads we went through your dms. You were trying to text your ex but landed on the dm from that company. I checked them out they're all legit. They had an offer for you. You replied saying you're interested which is why they're on the phone to you now." Aaliyah quickly responds.

"WHAT!" I yell again. More anxious as the minutes go by.

"Just see what the proposition is! It won't hurt." Aaliyah rolls her eyes.

"No! This is weird!" I argue.

"Girl it's a conversation. Just see what they're on about and then block their number after. Simple." Aaliyah shrugs, checking out her nails.
