— CHAPTER SIXTY FIVE
❝WE'RE FOREVER❞

— HARMONY —

HERE IT is. The big day. Jude's debut. I'm a bucket of nerves. Think I'm more nervous than he is at this point.

I slept over after his party last night. Just wanted to be with him really. He told me he wouldn't be able to sleep if I didn't. That his mind would be racing too much and he's only able to sleep soundly when I'm next to him. So I stayed. Happily.

This morning, I woke up extra early to make him breakfast. Want him to be as prepared as he can be. I made his breakfast and plated it up. Some for Denise too.

When he woke up and strolled into the kitchen to see his breakfast waiting for him, he smiled at me and immediately brought me into a hug, thanking me.

After breakfast we all get ready and then we leave, driving to the stadium. I'm holding Jude's hand the entire way. Don't want to let go of it. The nerves of today are eating me up. I just want everything to go well.

"Your hands are shaking." Jude comments as he looks down at our intertwined hands and then up at me. I'm chewing on my bottom lip nervously as I look out of the window.

"Nervous." I laugh.

He brings my hand to his lips, kissing it and then gives it a squeeze.

"Don't be." It's funny, I should be telling him that. He's the one who's actually playing. Not me.

I rest my head on his shoulder so I can relax and also because I won't get to be with him once we get inside that stadium. He's going to be doing team related stuff, warming up, interviews, the lot.

"I'm so happy you're here." He says softly to me as I play with our intertwined hands. Hopeful it distracts my busy mind.

"I'm happy I'm here too." I smile as I lift my head to look at him. He's so pretty it hurts.

He gives me a peck and then I rest my head back on his shoulder.

We arrive at the stadium way too quickly for my liking. He gets out of the car and so do I, along with Denise.

He takes my hand and we all walk inside the building. Immediately we're greeted with happy faces of staff. And then the manager.

Jude introduces me to him, he says hello to Jude's mum and then the three of us walk through the building.

"Okay Jude you go ahead and go to the locker room. We're gonna have a little team meeting and then get out and train a bit." Carlo informs.

Jude nods as a response and Carlo pats him on a back with a smile before he disappears off.

"Don't know how I'm gonna go through like seven hours without you." I pout as I look up at my boyfriend.

He rubs my arms as he looks down at me. "Like you told me, you'll be fine." He smirks.

I roll my eyes. He laughs, kisses me and then brings me into a hug. He then hugs his mum, says goodbye and ventures off to the locker rooms.
