I WOULD OF rather been anywhere else but here. I could name hundreds of people that would be better dinner company than Jude.
When I arrive he's already sat down at the table. On his phone like always. I say hello and he mutters a simple hi, not even looking up from his phone as I sit down.
A few people are staring over at us. All because of him of course. He doesn't seem to notice though seeing as his eyes are glued to the phone.
I clear my throat to get his attention which actually works because he locks his phone and looks up at me. His eyes look me up and down and then he shoots me an impressed nod of approval as if I care what he thinks.
