She nudged me and inquired, "Why do you ask? Do you have a crush on him already?"
"Oh shut it," I rolled my eyes to hide the violent swirl of emotions growing up in my insides.
I attended the meeting, even if my mind was not cooperating. I didn't look up from my table because I didn't want to make eye contact with him again, even if my skin was burning continuously under his gaze.
After that, the whole day, I was thinking about the kiss and how embarrassing I was. Even in all of my classes, I couldn't focus on anything the professors said.
I didn't have a lecture at that time so I decided to go to the cafeteria. I think some caffeine might help me forget about a certain thing. I went to my usual place and sat down. After a while, the university clocktower bell rang announcing the arrival of my female beasties or besties whichever you may call them.
"Hey Say, you're here already," Cassandra came and sat on the chair beside me. Her straight strawberry blonde hair flowed from her head and fell down on her shoulders, further going down her back. She had these typical ocean blue eyes which a poet can describe as the deep waves in which he can drown.
Vivianne also followed her with some burgers, chicken nuggets and coke in her hands. She had dark violet hairs with hints of red at the ends which suited well with her rare violet eyes. They suited so well that at some points it looked as though her hairs weren't dyed and it gave her a natural gorgeous appearance.
I smiled, "Yeah, I'm here." I looked around myself, more people have started entering the cafeteria.
Vivianne frowned, "What happened? You look so down, why?"
"Do I?" I asked nonchalantly. "It's nothing. Don't worry." I said and smiled again.
"Alright," Cassandra said slamming her hands on the table, "Now you're gonna tell us what happened from top to bottom. Every single thing."
"Yeah. Start," Vivianne ordered me.
"Jeez. Why do you guys always see through everything?" I groaned.
They just shrugged, "That's how we are."
"Okay. So listen. You know how dumb I am right?" I asked them.
They nodded, "Don't say the obvious, Say. And spill the beans already."
"I am dumb. But I was a little dumber today. I....um," I chewed on my bottom lip, "....kissed someone," my last words were barely a whisper.
"We can't hear voice below zero decibels. You know that right?" Vivianne's sarcastic side emerged as she tapped on the table impatiently.
"Alright. Fine. I kissed someone today!"
I received some disapproving glances from the people sitting around us because my voice was obviously not low.
"What the heck are you even saying? At least say something that makes sense!" Vivianne said in the same volume as me despite of the more dirty glances we were receiving.
"Hey. Volume down," Cassandra whispered.
Vivianne rolled her eyes. "How am I supposed to keep my volume down when this lady here, who is basically a saint, who hasn't kissed anybody before, who doesn't even know what s*x is--"
"Alright alright I get the point what you're trying to say, you don't have to explain it in so much detail," I stopped her before she made us all look embarrassed in front of everyone here.
"Yeah so, tell me the truth before I explode with curiosity and questions," Vivianne said.
"The thing is," I started telling my embarrassing moment to them and they heard me quietly and didn't say anything until I finished off.
